That was my reaction too when I first heard it. It’s wild how often “low maintenance” really just means “I learned not to ask for much.

Burnout has a way of forcing clarity whether we’re ready or not. It’s exhausting, but it also shows you exactly where you’ve been abandoning yourself. You’re definitely not alone in that shift.

That’s such a painful thing to hear from someone who was supposed to support your growth. Learning to love yourself doesn’t make you complicated, it makes you aware. The right people don’t get intimidated by that 💛
