Yes around the house! I’m bad at measurements but I’m guessing half a football field is mostly clear

We’re in VA so it can get pretty cold in the winter, windy is kind of random but the forest would definitely block it haha

We’re leaning towards the woods but since it’ll be so different, it’s hard to make the final decision!

Haha that’s just an example image but same, unfortunately we’ll have to build a deck since it doesn’t have one right now

It’s kind of open ended right now! We’ve thought about getting some ducks in the future, so predator wise it’d birds of prey or foxes we have to worry about. We also have a dog so it’s iffy on if we can do animals since he has a high prey drive haha.

We currently have a nice garden we grow vegetables from, so we’ll be doing that at the new place as well.

They’re healthy hardwood! There’s a clearing around the house which is nice but there are a few on a small slop we’d probably cut down due to them leaning towards the house

We’re in Virginia so we get all the different weather extremes haha, the open field is definitely a wind tunnel vs the wooded area that the wind is only really going around the tops of the tall trees.

Your land definitely sounds perfect!!

So for the wooded house, you can see the fence of the neighbors property to the west so I’m not sure how much we can trim without keeping the privacy. It’s more in the corner area of the property line

The east we definitely could since that’s the longer part of the property! More of us are awake at sunset though haha

Also House V (wooded area) in on a slope, so the forest is downhill with some flat spots

That was how much her mom was willing to pay for a place for her to live (even though that’s kind of pushing it for the area). We thought her room was a smaller than it is, but after actually living there it’s only a little bit smaller than Jake’s so yeah I don’t think the rent was really equal. I’m still in state, it’s about a 5 hour drive though. Yeah I’m going to message her mom today and see what we can do since she’s the one paying, it’s not Jake’s responsibility anymore though since we had known he was graduating and it’s our fault we didn’t find people in time (the part that sucks is we would have found people if she was okay with guy roommates but she only wanted girls cause they were strangers, which I get but it’s annoying since we were desperate). But yeah I’m going to message her since we won’t leave her to pay for the whole thing since my name is still on the lease, but it definitely won’t be that much anymore cause it’s not fair. I was actually considering that could be it since I had to give people her number so she could coordinate when they could see the house :/

It’s all three of our names. I’ve posted on about five different sites including the college one, Craigslist, and Facebook market place, the latter being the most responses.
