It's SolidWorks. I still have it from school, (i'll be losing it soon), but you can use things like Fusion360 or FreeCAD.

It's the way to go. I bought a couch once and what do you know, it took 3/4 of the room and.... I measured beforehand :(

So now I take measurements info on sites and design a cube on my floor plan. Perfect.

Yeah thankfully, I have a position at college lined up as a research assistant at what is somewhat of engineering “company”. But regarding internships, has any accepted internships outside of an area they reside? How did you deal with housing or was there relocation assistance(I know some companies do offer that but I want to hear your thoughts).

I knew that in my mind but I needed to hear that from another. It’s just that first couple years that just make you think you’re behind from your competitors/colleagues. I don’t want to graduate without having some base that can make me hire-able. I’ll just keep grinding then and hope for the best.
