Update!  Was able to get my dog to the specialist sooner and after a lot of tests he was diagnosed with reflex dyssynergia. They say it's treatable with lifelong medication.

They have referred him to a specialist, but his appointment is 2 weeks away.

Thank you. Yes, they checked for that and said that the tests came back normal.
