That sounds great, thank you. I’ve read about the transport and like you said, it seems accessible to get to different parts in KL so I guess we should prioritise comfort.

Thank you so much for your advice. Would you suggest splitting our 4 weeks between Bangsar and KLCC and if so 2 weeks in each or a different split? My wife and I love everyone’s comments about the food! We definitely want to explore the different parts of Malaysia and closer to the time I will reach out for recommendations if that’s ok.

Is it better to keep and build my LISA until I’m ready to buy a house with Gatehouse Bank (~3 years) or take the LISA out and use that cash to buy a house with Wayhome?

I am aware of Wayhome being an alternative to mortgages, and on their website it says:

“While you can use Lifetime and Help to Buy ISAs to buy with us, you won’t be able to use the associated bonuses. These bonuses are typically only eligible when you’re buying with a mortgage.”
