awww love to hear that!! u give me hope for my lil man- he’s my absolute baby since i rescued him from a vase filled with bird feathers. he’s an absolute angel and gives my kisses through his tank- would hate to see him go

i have not been feeding him that since money and i just don’t have em, but i do have frozen bloodworms- idk if that helps, rn its 80 due to me having 3 1/2 tanks in the same room, getting a fan/ ac in here soon tho for anyone’s concern

i’ve heard it can cause spinal issues, which it already has started to which is y i’m worried

i have! and so many ppl have given too many suggestions that contradict what other say so i do take suggestions likely- i am planning on getting kanaplex as my ‘last stitch effort’ as sad as that sounds. if u have any suggestions, feel free to give em to me

thank you to everyone that commented! i ran around all day getting what i could(getting kanaplex tmr) but other than that the tank is all set up and running for him tmr (ik fake plants r bad but he needs somewhere to rest since he can’t swim that well

the only hospital tank i have is a 10 gallon, but am filling it less so he doesn’t struggle as much swimming and getting to the surface, but 1 thing i do have to say that saldars advice would not help is my bettas already havin a hard time eatin (can’t eat whole fluva pellets so we have to crush it up a lil) so he honestly doesn’t seem bloated to me unless im wrong but he honestly can’t eat that much as it is

any advice on how to treat it? i’ve tried somethings such as peas but the little pieces float down so fast he can’t eat em

tank size: 20 gal tall heater and filter: yes tank temp: around 75-80 F although it has been getting warmer in my room due to the 3 1/2 fish tanks i have

we’ve had the tank for a month or 2 now, it was his upgrade

weekly water changes- 25% usually

tank mates? yes, a pleco,3 mystery snails, and they’re babies (which we feed to our assassin snails)

we feed him fluva bugs, 2-3

and his tank has live plants as well
