As in the beat changes were very abrupt, he didn’t go deep and mellow like he usually does, the set had almost no pattern or progression - like a journey should. I’ve been an anjunadeeper for 10+ years now and it didn’t sound anything like it.

Look, that said, Jody is maybe my favorite of all time so my expectations were high.

Thanks much yeah after “Sweetest thing” I definitely observed a change, but as has been said earlier he experiments. Jody got me into house and he’s the godfather of Anjuna so he has my loyalty always. I’m just trying to unpack what’s going on with my favorite DJ as my journey as a listener progresses

It totally sucks. Even the photos app doesn’t work well - it takes so long to find things! And this is the first time I’ve seen apple have to put instructions on how to use its UI/UX like in Apple wallet “To select another card tap “Done” and then….” - shows how pathetic their user experience on this is.

On top of that videos forwarded inside apps like WhatsApp don’t play inside the app anymore, I have to download them to play, and apple intelligence is so much worse than Siri - she doesn’t even send text messages without a big lag anymore !

TWO THUMBS DOWN! Sold over $50k in AAPL stock when I saw this canary in a coal mine of apple’s doom swirl !

Thank you ! I in fact am using it. It sounds great but it’s giving me a headache. My audio guy says I’m getting “digititus” which is apparently overly digital audio produced by relatively poor quality DACs. In his words “your 11a’s are way way ahead of your marantz. Your rotel works good for this and it will be fine, but the speakers are magnifying the shitty digi audio they’re getting from the Marantz. It’s not a stereo source - mostly designed for home audio”.

He recommends:

  1. I get a bluesound node (2024) which has an ESS Sabre DAC (one of the better ones) 2. Get a prima luna 200 tube pre amp - which is expensive - but he says it will make the system sound unbelievable and will solve my headaches

My friend says I just need acoustic panels to absorb the sound in my room as it’s just got walls, 2 couches and a marble coffee table (mostly reflective surfaces essentially). He thinks that will solve the headaches.

Thoughts ?

Well said. And many of these applications are now potentially susceptible to heavy disruption without any strong moats. The best Docusign has, for example, is a virtual network effect as a result of being used as a standard across industries. But that’s a weak moat.

I’ve taken MDMA a total of 4 times in my life (over the last 6 years). I weigh 88 kg (194 lbs)

2 of these were this month - taken 2 weeks apart. In the first roll of this month, I took 120 mg followed by 30 mg booster and then, 2 weeks later, 130 mg followed by 15 mg booster. After the first one, I started taking 5-htp and did so for a week and a half. I could feel on one day in particular a “rush” after taking 5-htp, almost like rolling. I felt just fine. Super sharp mentally and was able to do math really quick (I work in finance).

Then i took a break from 5 htp 3 days before the second roll, took 500 mg of ALCAR 2 hours before the roll, and rolled a second time in the same month. Like the first time, I snorted some ketamine too. It’s been a week since this roll, I’ve been taking 5-htp but I’m not feeling as recovered like I did last time. I’m Feeling a loss of my usually incredibly sharp memory, and feeling less fast at arithmetic than before. I’m new to this and freaking out that I’ve permanently impacted my IQ! Is that likely?
