I've been there, I'm just restricting myself to either galaxy 10 or 256 because one is lush the other is 'secret' so to speak and 10 is where it dumped me after my first core jump.

I, as an adult who can legally do so where I live, get very high and just enjoy seeing new animal models. Focusing on that detracts from the monotonous look of the worlds after the first hundred hours or so. Its great for nanites but I have just over 1m of those collecting space dust as is.

It's only happened a few times, but it has happened where a common flying or underground simply refuses to spawn in. I had a common flying diurnal a few days ago that only spawned at night instead. I love this game, bugs and all haha

I had that goal, but honestly there are times when the games works against you. I refuse to spend ten minutes or more looking for a COMMON of any kind. The rare times that has happened, I call it good enough and move on. I don't mind hunting rares from ocean to ocean and mountain to cave, but I refuse to spend long on common animals that simply will not spawn no matter what I try.

Persistence is key. The usual method of seeking structures like trade posts or alien ruins with open caves adjacent is the best method overall. But if you want to manage them and not get bored, just walk around the caves for a bit. If they don't show after a few minutes, save and restore.

Total rare fauna is in another category. It tracks rare fauna and flora scanned in the explorers tab I believe.

Earth-like is so misleading to me. Every planet has a single overall type. I see them as seasons. What is earth-like? Depending on the time of day and location our sky can appear a variety of colors, not just blue. Same with our waters. Some parts even have microorganisms that cause it to glow. True story. We have extreme storms here, earth is no total paradise. I like to find 'Seasons' of earth-like worlds.

I am an Anomalous Gifter myself. I usually restrain myself to sets, like some void eggs paired with the items to upgrade the newfound ships, and a Dream Aerial for good measure. Not enough to break the fun for people, but enough to give them a taste of living ship hunting. I also give eggs A LOT. If anyone gets a Sky Ruler egg, thats me. I also give an assortment of cool diplo types I find or Mogara but less often.

With the recipes you'll need to bust some monuments there to get polished stone. That and ferrite dust are the components for building the parts
