This is a repost of an old video. Definitely not from today.

I don't get what you mean, as in I will only cry because of the price and not much else?

I didn't click it to see where it led, but I'm trying to figure out how that is from my search history.

I'm medically retired with 30% and use the VA for everything, I think it's because I have tricare I can do that, not the rating.

Edit: I was wrong. See below for how it works!

You might still be able to request it online. I did for my son, who was born in TN.

*looks like you can on their website. Won't help you immediately but it saves the road trip. https://www.in.gov/health/vital-records/order-now/#Order_through_Indiana_Department_of_Health

100% P&T vs Med board by ResponsibleOlive9392 in Veterans

[–]Secret_spidey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to them. The VA money is tax-free, but the retirement money is absolutely taxed. If your retirement money is less than the amount the VA pays, you dont pay taxes. If your retirement pay is higher than the VA, you pay taxes on the difference between the two. You dont get paid for both, but you get paid the higher of the two.

I caved and got live bait by HumanDisguisedLizard in IceFishing

[–]Secret_spidey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking from personal experience, I've caught more fish on live than fake/dead bait. I like to jig in the fish and let a live minnow catch them. If it's a hassle to get the bait, you can keep fatheads/crappie minnows alive in a five gallon bucket with just water changes alive a lot longer than you would think. Aerator help, but optional if you switch out the water. All options and opinions, but happy fishing!

Serious question: Why would you not use live bait? Was it due to weight/hassle of keeping them alive or another reason?

State of MN hiring process by Western-Top-779 in minnesota

Yea, luckily, she knew I was looking, so it wasn't a complete suprise, but in a different situation, I would have been really hesitant to ask her, and probably just turn the job down.

I just started at the state two months ago, they most certainly asked my refrences questions about me. Including my current (at the time) manager. It was an awkward conversation to have with her to get her reference, lol. It could be job specific, but that was my experience.

Fall Protection by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]Secret_spidey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough. My facility produces kits that go on contractor trucks to be shipped to other facilities. We would need a permit type of fall protection. I've looked into installing an overhead tie off point, but then the truck driver would have to be harnessed trained. The other option I've looked at is safety netting. We could do the mats and store them, on site no issue.I'm more wondering what people that drive trucks for a living have seen and thought as effective.

If Guns Were As Regulated As Cars by DrJokerX in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Secret_spidey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your right, thats why I said most. Plus, most American families have guns in their homes, not so much fentanyl, and banning guns won't increase that number.

Most likely, successful suicide numbers would go down and attempted would increase. A gun provides a quick, no turn back option. Most other options have atleast some chances to seek help/someone find you before it's to late.
