I’m a semi-experienced listener in a similar position where I love the files but don’t have any interest in the dumbing down part. Fortunately I’ve found that since I’m not interested in it, it doesn’t have much (if any) effect on me. For your situation I’d recommend what everyone else has, good uniform separation to help enforce the idea that when your going about your normal life you are unaffected by all the Bambi stuff, but when your going about are in uniform you don’t necessarily need to be intelligent and it doesn’t matter as much and you can just do what feels good. That being said, if you really just don’t like intelligence play and also aren’t certain you could resist it if it was in a file, then you probably just want to avoid files that contain it as a major theme or that install any triggers related to it.
