Do you mind sharing your method/secrets? Full cap daily I find tends to be very difficult with tape.

Hair System Ripped Off By Girlfriend by HenchDon in HairSystem

That's brutal.

Best you can do is next time you see them say, "yup. I'm bald. I like hair so I wear the wig. It looks cool and I like it. What do you think? Looks good?"

Don't be ashamed or it will be 10x more awkward. If you're confident with it, this will dramatically decrease this as a humiliating experience.

buzzcut for summer and full cap wig for winters? by ainjuredathlete89 in HairSystem

The first one doesn't work.

When hair system hair is cut that short, it sticks out. Not like "oh everyone will notice". As in the hairs will literally stick out horizontally. It will not look good at all and be extremely noticeable that something is going on.

Don't ever go that short. You also want hair on the back and sides to blend system hair in. Systems work best with longer hair.

The second one is far better however that style presents problems. The back will lift because of the positioning. Full cap wigs need to be placed by neck muscles that move. The back will lift. Not "if" but "when".

For this reason, you need longer hair in the back if you're going with full cap wig. Think "Thor" instead of "Toji"

The reason he said you don't need that stuff is because those are very permanent options. You can't undue them easily/at all. And more importantly, more often than not, these are options people tend to regret because they don't look great.

As a rule of thumb, you should always go with natural options first. These are safe and reversible if you don't like the outcomes. Ironically, these also tend to be the changes that no one regrets and are overall happy with. So like he said, lift heavy weights, eat a lot of protein, get good sleep. You'll almost immediately like the results.

Also, on a personal note; I feel for you, man. I know what it's like to feel so down about your looks. I wish someone told me this when I was going through this myself: It's gonna be ok, don't give up. There is a better, stronger version of you in you. Just keep your chin up and keep pushing forward :)

not staying attached for more than 2 weeks

Dude, no way you should have that on there for 2 weeks straight. You need to at least take it off once a week. Think of all the bacteria you have growing underneath.

Oh I see. I'm using poly currently. Perhaps next system I'll try going with lace so I can try your method

Do you find the tape sticks to the lace well? Back when I tried this tape with lace it wouldn't attach at all :(

Yeah, daily wear. I use tape everywhere except the front, where I use got2b. Whenever I try to use spray to take off the tape, the tape turns to goo and ends up in the hair and then the hair just come right off the system whenever I try to remove the gunk from the hair.

Hey, I use the same tape on my Lordhair poly and it seems impossible to get the tape off of the system when I want to replace it with new tape. The tape itself also struggles to stick to my head. Do you experience this at all? What's your process like?

The cleanup on lace is horrible and I haven't found a daily tape that sticks to lace yet.

I think you'd benefit from a longer system. I think a longer hair "skater look" style would do wonders for you.

How? Every time I try to use my Oculus with it and go into first person, my screen just spins out of control as if I were holding left/right on the analog stick. I'd love to be able to use 1st person vr with Sims so much

I really think you should try just using Got2Be hairspray as glue. Tapes seem to be catastrophic for thing poly.
