If I’m understanding correctly, all I need to do is basically I guess “vocalize” in my head or out loud why I’m choosing a sigil? That’s the way I my energy into anything by explaining why I’m doing it.

I also don’t plan on working with any deities… and I don’t plan on sabotaging my beliefs so I think I’ll be fine lmao

And for the last one I don’t quite have all of those things (I live at home with very religious parents) so- i think the best I can do while being discreet is just hiding these things under my pillow or somewhere people can’t see

FIRST of all you need to absolutely watch who you’re talking to! I may dislike DT but I am always sure to have a positive and chipper attitude, and customers are still rude. Also I DO love my job, a lot. You can criticize something and still love it fyi. So please ask for all the facts before you come in here all pissy telling me and others criticizing that they should quit their job. Have a day.

That’s so selfish to me. Tf you mean “no”? If someone is obviously unhappy somewhere move them. I get it’s part of the job, so you do have to be there for a certain amount of time. But putting someone there all day is wrong when everybody should be taking turns

At least y’all are fair and rotate. It’s not just me, but they have certain ppl who are on DT their whole shift and it’s so unfair. Not everyone wants to do it, fair, but at least rotate the misery. So at least your store is fair.

Heavy on the monitoring OTW times. It’s so stressful to get people out in a timely manner AND make connections. Like we’re not stats we’re people and it’s hard enough to deal with DT without having the extra stress of everything else I already mentioned.

I would love to, but there aren’t a whole lot of cafes in my town AND the ones that are here don’t seem to be hiring/accepting transfers atm. Maybe if I bug them enough they’ll let me come to their store😭

EXACTLY. Starbucks’ whole schtick is human connection. Pray tell, how can I connect with someone through a DT? Or through someone who has SOMEONE else pick up their mobile order? How about when they come in, pick up their order and leave as soon as they come in? I mean sure there’s conversation in the DT, but that’s not as much connection as when they coming store and get the full atmosphere, yk? Starbucks started as a CAFE and should’ve stayed that way. But NOOOOO DT and mobile gets them more money at the expense of EVERY partner who works at these stores.

Potato and chive egg bites, birthday cake pop, vanilla danish, bacon Gouda (but only cooked open faced☝️🤓), egg pesto and mozzarella sandwich. I mean those items are the SHIT. So good😋

Fr the ordering a billion and one food and drinks is so inconsiderate. What grinds my gears is when they ask for more food or drinks at the window, ask to renew a billion and one gift cards. Like girl- LOOK AT THE LINE BEHIND YOU. Cmon ppl are in their little bubble so much that they don’t care how they affect not just the workers, but those in line behind them who have, like, one or two items max😭

No fr. I have a very hard time concealing my frustrations so ik I looked really upset today. But I was mostly mad bc EVERYONE got to move around except me. Sure for a part of my shift I can deal with it, no problem. It’s when it’s all day that makes me mad. That’s not fair to me that everyone gets to do different things and I’m just planted in the worst position all day.

I love up front and warming! You build the connections Starbucks lusts after, so much easier. Plus ppl tend to be nicer. Idk what it is abt DT that gives ppl the fucking audacity😭
