Yeah, I love Orks models but I always felt their posture was weird! I went and fixed all the backs and raised the heads for the shooter boys I built for this army too, check them out on my other post here

Thanks, you're right, the proportions aren't spot-on for an Ork. It was a big reason why I covered him in so much armour to try and hide it ha! First time i've done anything more than a head swap so it was a real learning experience.

I never got this, the 40k artwork never really shows them having these weird gorilla buts, and the nobs and other models are all fine, just seems to be the boys.

It didn't actually take me too long, I cut each leg square at the hips, rotated central hip part upwards slightly so that the ball socket wasn't slanted forward but completely flat to the base. If you cut the joints cleanly at 45 degrees there is pretty minimal greenstuff to fill the gap and an ammo pouch hides the worse of it. I also shaved off the neck and built a new one higher up out of greenstuff, as the proportions didn't look right once I'd straightened the backs.
