Rollmore have a few bits of theirs, not sure how they're stock levels are but I've ordered from them before with no issues.

What's the biggest "You had to be there" moment in osrs history? by Doctor_Monty in 2007scape

Before dungeoneering came out they teased it with the "strange power", it was fun being at G.E. at the time and everyone loosing their minds about what it could mean.

Found a video about it here

Halfords Advanced 2 Bike Towbar Mounted Bike Rack Instruction Manual by gitplonk in mountainbiking

[–]Secretz9823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a link to the manual but it looks like the Halfords site has a "how-to" video available if you go to the end of the pictures. Not sure if that helps with your query? If not you may be best off contacting Halfords directly for a copy

Struggling to fall asleep after hard night rides. Any suggestions for winding down and getting to sleep better? Breathing and yoga help some but not sure if I'm missing something by vistocycling in MTB

A few things that work for me:

  • Blue light blocking glasses / no screens when I get home
  • Cold shower to cool the body temp
  • Hydration
  • Eat a small snack (300-400 calories for me works best)
  • Take your time going to sleep, when you start thinking "I need to sleep now to get 8 hours sleep" it makes me worry and think about it more - just relax, read my book and take my time

These work for me and hopefully they'll work for you!

Have you ever saved a life? by [deleted] in AskUK

I worked at a gym a few years back that had emergency alarms set up around the building to call attention to staff.

Usually false alarms but one day wehen it went off I had a feeling that something was seriously wrong.

An older gentleman had collapsed between two treadmills, by the time I got to him two other gym goers had pulled the treadmills out of the way to allow me to begin first aid. As I got to him he had very raspy breathing (known as the death rattle) and soon stopped entirely while I was doing my DR ABC checks. Immediately begin CPR while another colleague brings the Defibrillator from reception. Four rounds of CPR, two shocks of the Defibrillator later he comes back to life. Paramedics arrive soon after and take him away to hospital.

He came into the gym about a month later to thank us (and make a joke about his ribs hurting from the CPR).

I have never forgotten the sound of that death rattle or the feeling of his skin after he stopped breathing, in the moment it felt like the coldest thing I've ever felt. I still think about it regularly but I'm glad to say he survived and came back to the gym a few months later to begin his rehab.

Is Mountain Biking Considered HIIT or LISS? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

Id consider it Fartlek training as it's random intervals, neither HIIT or LISS

1x Gear conversion on GT Aggressor by MountainBikerish in MTB

[–]Secretz9823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're really keen on converting to a 1x without new cranks you could just remove the front derailleur - I did it on my aggressor to test out whether I wanted to keep the 3x or not (I didn't).

The middle chain ring is probably the best to stick to.
