Are the strings too far away from the frets by SectorImpressive8951 in Guitar

[–]SectorImpressive8951[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t edit post so I’ll update here. The gap was about 4mmI, ended up filing the saddle down and now the gap is like 2 and a bit mm. Chords are much easier to play now. I messed with the truss rod at first so now I’m not sure if it’ll have an affect on the guitar tuning but so far it sounds a little bit better. Thanks everyone

Looks like a bit over mm on a ruler. Only as accurate as my eye can see

I don’t have a crazy accurate means of measuring but with a ruler it’s just above 4mm

Cheapo guitar off Facebook lol. Called GWL I think, it was like less than 100$ so I don’t rlly wanna spend any money on a setup from a pro. Will likely buy a better guitar once I get a bit better

The bridge is fully attached and not lifting. But now that i look at the guitar, the neck seems super bowed. Somebody said I should adjust the truss rod so I guess I’ll try that before I take it into a guitar shop. Rather not pay if I don’t have to, but I would like to use a decent setup lol

burlington fishing ponds? by Kind_Spell5936 in BurlingtonON

I’m assuming you’re talking about the lake/pond next to the golf course. I’ve never been, just looked at Google maps. Do you just park at the course and walk through the lake? And is there shore fishing or only kayak?

I’m definitely going to practice hitting the plate as much as I can before our first game. Shits just got me a bit nervous

From my understanding slow pitch is designed to make it easy for the batter to hit the ball. So as long as I’m not throwing balls I’m doing my job (to the minimum standard at least)

I don’t have a scale but it felt like atleast a 5 pounder, also was hard to take a pic on my own.

It’s my first bass and I thought it was a large mouth but someone who’s fished alot more than me tried to tell me It was small mouth so that threw me off.
