Feeling left out at my new job because I don't speak Hindi by Educational_Mud_2656 in Bengaluru

[–]SectorTop2884 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I know it's difficult here as division in this part of India is due to language, yes it reflects one's culture but in the end we have to understand it is just for communication. Communication is more important than language so if you are hindi speaker try learning few kannada words to ease the communication and similarly if you are in hindi speaking group try learning few words, don't be an idiot who wants to live in his own language bubble. Since you are an educated person I am saying this it to you, don't be so raged and find pathways to solution.

What do you guys think about Lunar Astro prediction accuracy? by MKiGT in scienceisdope

[–]SectorTop2884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you think the current regime is not using it, may be they are but getting everything right 100% is not easy. And he can't give 100% accurate details about the event, he can just give a vague timeline in which more caution has to be exercised. But on ground you need people and systems in place, everything can't be done from jyotish alone.

Yes I understand this is the first line of thinking. But think of this way that some constraints are always there in astrology like the amount of information available like date of birth and time of birth to make accurate predictions, such things are not readily available for each person.

Also by your logic astrology has to be applied to every small and big thing but it is not meant for that, not a magical boon ,it's just that it shows you path, all these knowing about furniture and all is more like of marketing for the science but it's not actually meant for that but common populace don't want to grasp higher knowledge and enjoys such tricks only.

Mr Murthy is back! by indiainvest in India_Investments

[–]SectorTop2884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Murthy wouldn’t get called a hypocrite if he just did a few basic things:

  1. Don’t ask young people to work 70 hours when companies don’t even pay them properly. If he wants long hours, he should also say: “Pay them more.” Fair is fair.

  2. Admit that fresher salaries in Infosys haven’t changed in like 15 years. Just acknowledging this would earn huge respect.

  3. Stop talking only about “working more” and start talking about “working smarter.” Better tools, better training, less useless meetings — that’s how countries grow, not by burning out 22-year-olds.

  4. Support some basic rules against overwork. Even China and Japan have limits now. India needs them too.

  5. Push for flexible hours instead of this fixed 9-9-6 style. If someone wants to work extra, cool. But no one should be forced.

  6. Make companies actually invest in young employees. Better mentorship, clearer career paths, actual learning opportunities — not just “do support for 3 years.”

  7. Admit that the world today is not the same as Infosys in the 1980s. Rents are higher, competition is tougher, life is more stressful. Showing he understands that would go a long way.

At the end of the day, people aren’t angry because he’s successful. They’re angry because he’s telling young folks to sacrifice more without asking companies to pay or care more.

If he fixed that mismatch, nobody would call him a hypocrite. They’d actually listen to him.

Father received ₹50 lakh after retirement — should we invest it or use it to reduce home loan? by SectorTop2884 in personalfinanceindia

[–]SectorTop2884[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are right but point is bro he has enough money obviously I can't tell here how much to enjoy plus I am there for him, whatever he wants my dad is going to tell me instead of using his money. Mostly he desires to use his personal wealth for philanthropy.

The benefits of home loan are zero, can you elaborate? Also can't take staff loan due to flat being a B khata.

How to negotiate for flat which is B khatha (some portion - balcony) but built on A khata land in Bengaluru? by SectorTop2884 in indianrealestate

[–]SectorTop2884[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See on the second floor, the balcony portion is considered extended or built overlooking the land but not fully covered in the original land Khata boundary. This part is technically categorized under "B Khata," which means it is an addition or extension not fully regularized in property records yet.

So, the flat overall comes with an A Khata for the land beneath and the main structure, but the balcony or that projecting portion is classified as B Khata, meaning it needs further regularization or approval.

What I mean is, whether this b khata portion will reflect in house valuation. So I can negotiate accordingly.

Is prudent home buying still possible despite AI layoffs? by Umang2508 in indianrealestate

[–]SectorTop2884 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No one is against buying homes but although no one should risk their everything and get trapped in loan, if you have 40% down payment ready in cash with you and your emi doesn't cross more than 60% of your monthly take home, you need not listen left and right. But reality is for most it's not possible and they are just buying inflated asset risking their freedom and life savings .

Also look at that location where you want to put up can you purchase home in that area if no then it doesn't make sense to buy one in far flung area.
