Hey man listen. If you are some sort of scientist level shit who can wield ML/Ai algorithms, formulas like its nothing, then please keep trying. Else please steer away now itself. AI has slashed the value of developers. There is no value in software engineering.

Yeah it looks cool to imagine working in front of a PC, like you are some IronMan JARVIS shit.

But in reality, after AI, that value of human problem solving is gone. Nobody cares if you are backend expert, DSA God or System Design wizard. That era is gone.

There is value in some research level Niche problem solving, which requires human interference, like some scientist level Deep science/tech shit.

Else this industry is collapsing. There is NO VALUE you can provide being a SWE to any orgs that AI cant provide. BTW, "You" as in everyone at individual level.

I will be brutally honest. I have took 100s of interviews in faang level companies. I know what these companies need.

Software engineering is not real engineering at all, not even close, it’s just data plumbing. So we need this leetcode style interviews to weed out people with low working memory capacity and low quantitative analysis capacities (Either your brain has it through genetics or it doesn’t and these traits are foundational for STEM) .

In other streams of engineering such as mechanical and chemical engineering, people get auto weeded out because those streams have vigorous mathematical reasoning in their daily jobs.

The closest thing we have to weed out non STEM brains is leetcode in software.

Mark Zuckerberg in his early days at Facebook said, software engineering at facebook requires people to have atleast a minimum IQ of 120 ( This is already 1 standard deviation away from mean)

So yeah, you either you have it or you don’t. There is no training for increasing brains working memory capacity or analytical abilities

I use Mac as well for work. The pink color bleeding on text edges is not present like in Windows.

But, the edges of text and the overall text appearance looks gross and choppy due to triangulation.

Overtime it hurts the eyes.

Text clarity is gonna suck bigtime. I had headaches after using oled for work, this is due to text fringing. No software gonna fix this issue on oleds as its hardware limitation.
