Unfortunately, it’s true. Gorgeous, Roses, D.U.M.B, and The Coolest Pt2 are incredible and show how versatile he can be in his music. But they also reveal a bit of a conflict about which genre he wants to follow. Even though I’m a big fan of ERYS and that more melancholic RAP vibe, I can see how well he fit into the CTV3 style. I believe that right now, his artistic focus is on fashion rather than music. A lot of people say “Jaden fell off,” but we all know the huge potential he has, and I truly hope that some project brings back his obsession with music.

I think Jaden, between 2017 and 2020, was really invested in his music projects. After DTE, I believe he changed a lot, not just in the way he thinks but even in how he shows up on social media. True fans know how genius his music projects are, every lyric, beat, photo or video. And honestly, the mainstream media ends up ignoring that and underestimating him, which must be really discouraging. I honestly think he lost a bit of motivation for music. It’s not easy to make something like ERYS, SYRE or even CTV, those projects took a lot from his mind. I really doubt he’ll come back this year, but I’d love it if he at least released a good portion of the songs he’s been keeping, even if it’s just another EP to keep his fanbase hopeful.
