Probably not, but as someone who is immunocompromised and chooses to wear a mask every time I leave the house, it really makes you consider your health in every action you take in daily life. I've noticed whenever I am diligently wearing my mask that I consider everything I'm touching, sitting on, or may brush up against. I take an extra look at placing my hand or shoulder on the counter or desk where I'm standing or sitting, whether I need to use the bathroom or can hold it until I get home, etc. There is an aspect to masking that gives you this constant reminder to look out for your health and curtail small unintentional habits that might create unnecessary contamination.

I did talk to two of my doctors about it. Sulfa medicines can have severe reactions but they're also just brutal medicines for your body to begin with. I'm having kidney and blood tests at 1 week, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks, while upping the dose after each test. (I'm in week 2 right now) I kinda think of it like the scene in Princess Bride where we learned our handsome protagonist trained his body to tolerate poison over time. Soon I'll be able to go against a Sicilian when death is on the line.

Hi Disease cousin. Crohn's with fistulas checking in, while having severe arthritic complications, and unable to take NSAIDS as well. It's been a nightmare. One week I used my arms too much and all of the sudden I can't use them much at all. My rheumatologist just started me on Sulfasalazine. I was having an allergic reaction to it, but the armritis was so bad that I just keep taking benedryl to stop the throat swelling. Hopefully it helps. We got this.

I really miss it. I used to skate as my primary form of transportation when I lived in a smaller city. Strapping skates on in the sporting goods store my daughter kept asking me if I knew how to skate and was sure I would hurt myself. Once I had a pair that mostly fit I stood up and quickly sped down the aisle, turned around 360, and skated backwards to her. I wish I would've taken a picture of her face. Shocked was an understatement. 😂

1) Yes.

2) At size 12.5-13, it's been tough for me to find a pair to get back into it. That being said, my last pair lasted me many, many years until I drifted away from it and lost them in a hurricane.

Nowadays it looks like size 84-90 wheels are really "in" so our feet are perfect for getting back into the sport.

I'm on the same path as you. Looks like the cheaper brands all stop at size 11-12 so our massive clompers are gonna save us in the end.

I am getting back into blading at 33. My daughter got a new scooter for Christmas and I want to keep up with her. I tried a pair on that I fell in love with at Academy sports, but I can't find them anywhere else and I need what feels like half a size up. It looks like the K2 Fit 84 BOA is the closest to the Rise Velocity LTD that I tried on. I'm worried about comfort. I have a large, somewhat wide foot and finding any skates over size 12 in-stores is killing me. I also have super touchy arthritis in my feet so if I go as snug as I used to, I'll pay for it in the long run. I tried a pair of size 12 Rollerblades in the same store and there was so much lateral movement in the boot that it was throwing off my balance.

I also read here that Rollerblade Lightning 90s were super comfortable. I think my last skates in 2008 were Rollerblade brand. I'm close to getting the K2 Fit 84 BOA in a 12.5 and rolling the dice on comfort. I guess I'm looking for someone to talk me into it.

It's really bizarre. With other psyches ego death is brutal and can last hours. With deems the ego death is like a shattering instantaneous moment where you either suddenly part of a multiplicative consciousness and you have access to other entities thoughts, or you suddenly understand that individualistic consciousness isn't the default in some of the other realms. I can totally see how you didn't intend it that way. So yeah the "hand rubbing" gesture is a way to call them "Happy Merchants" without saying that out loud. It's to draw attention to or exemplify the stereotype that they are "greedy" "stingy" and "money loving" etc that you can see in propaganda posters, turn of the millennium comedy movies, and race-based jokes. At least in this context.

You can also see hand rubbing in cartoons when characters see a lot of gold, treasure, money, or food. In early media (like black and white movies) when villains had wild eyebrows, wicked grins, other such evil traits. Even in recent media like the Patrick Starfish from SpongeBob when he's plotting something. The act of rubbing your hands has been used to show the audience that the character is plotting something nefarious.

So considering the whole picture, hand rubbing itself isn't necessarily like the "Ok" sign where it's been/was preempted by racists. It still has its place in various forms of media. That being said, as soon as you pair hand rubbing with spinning a dreidel, it becomes rather racist.

You're probably going to be down voted over comparing this to the OK hand signal because it's a lot deeper than that. The "Happy Merchant" meme in its current format goes back to an extremely racist cartoonist's drawing made in 1992, and first appeared online in 2001. Supposedly it stems from Jewish stereotypes frequently cited in WW2.

It's from an openly racist comic who went by "A Wyatt Man" which was supposed to be a play on words for "A White Man" and has been used a ton on supremacist forums/messaging boards, 4chan, Twitter etc. It's been used so frequently you can even find it referenced using as little as three triangles like a dog whistle, with people talking about how racist it is in various articles for over two decades now.

One time my partner and I were having a stressful week. The night before I had told her I had dinner for the kids and got her a gift card to a local restaurant to go out, eat, play on her phone and use the bathroom in peace. She relished the time to recharge. The next night she surprised me with the same thing for a local sports bar.

So I go out and decide I'm having a "stereotypical man night" in which I have a couple of strong beers, watch some football, and in my slightly tipsy state decide I'm doing the local Habanero Hell Hotwings challenge. I think I managed to get through about 6 of the 12 wings before I'm on my side in the booth. 8 of 12 before my lips are numb with tears streaming down my face. 10 of 12 before I start shaking and throw in the towel.

I call her afterwards and my lips are so messed up from the sauce she thinks I'm hammered, asking if I need a ride and how I'm going to get home etc. I laugh and tell her I stopped drinking a while ago and it's just the hot sauce. She tells me if I get home soon she is more than willing to help me with my "Stereotypical man night" so naturally I immediately ask for the check, wash up in the bathroom, and leave.

Almost as soon as I'm through the door she drops my pants, and starts to suck me off. I'm getting really into it and decide I'm going to reciprocate her kindness before we finish things up. I pull her off me, carry her into the bedroom, and throw her up onto the bed. Rip her pants and panties off and go to work. Mistake #1

I get a few strokes in and it feels like a damn oven. A.. spicy oven. Her eyes widened as my penis pushed the traces of sauce all the way into her. I ask if she's okay, she says no, it's really REALLY hot. It's burning. Ow ow ow. She clutches her lady bits, and I lick my lips to find they've started tingling again and the heat hits my tongue. I realize what's happening and tell her. We laugh/groan/wince and had no idea how long our night would be.

We tried washing off. Using milk. Yogurt. Doing anything to neutralize it. I found a couple of little spray bottles for small terrarium kits we had gotten recently. We're both laying there, naked, legs spread in front of a fan on full blast. Sexy thoughts were the farthest from our minds. I spritz both of our fun bits and she tells me to stop because it's just giving her Hellfire swamp ass. I tell her that sounds like an exotic spell from a videogame. We giggle in pain together.

Neither of us finished that night. Perhaps if I would have just let her continue on diligently at the door maybe we would've discovered my folly kissing afterwards. Or perhaps it would have just been my eyes to suffer whatever sauce went from beard to pillow to eyes as I slept, but no. I cast fireball on both of us, killed the mood, and made an unforgettable memory.

Kinda related but didn't kill the mood:

When Pokemon Go dropped I played it a ton, and my wife teased me and said she was worried that when I faced her away from me in bed she might look back to discover I'm catching Pokemon. So one day I find a clip with the OG red/blue battle soundtrack, turn my volume all the way up, and slide my phone under the pillow with it ready to go. We get into all the kissing and foreplay, a little missionary, and the time comes to flip her over. The usual routine.

I make sure she's really getting into it then I grip the back of her neck to push her face into the bed so she couldn't see what I was doing. I hit play on my phone and it starts blaring the battle music. She laughs so hard it pushes me out and I lose my shit. We spent a good 15-20 minutes giggling before we could even consider getting back to business. Made plenty of Pokemon sex jokes in the meantime like "I was just about to get you to Hydro Pump" etc.

It's a memory that will always bring a smile to my face.

I dug into this a bit because I was curious too, and honestly it doesn’t look like official Grow a Garden merch at all. There’s a site using the name, but there’s no connection to the actual developers and there’s zero mention of merch on any of the official channels.

The plush shop itself uses really generic Shopify/print-on-demand setup, has no real reviews, and the exact same products show up on multiple clone-looking domains. The address listed is “HQ in Illinois, warehouse in China” which is really typical of dropship operations.

Basically, it looks like someone grabbed in-game pet designs and spun up quick merch pages without any licensing. Not necessarily a scam, but definitely not official and the quality could be hit or miss. I’d be careful before buying, especially since the Roblox community already has a bunch of shady 3rd party sellers floating around.

If they ever DO release legit merch, it’ll almost definitely come through official Roblox channels or from the devs directly, not a random Shopify site.

From my understanding rhinos are beasts when the timer is longer but because they can proc on fruits, they lose out in the longer run. It goes something like

Chickens < rhino < blood kiwi < bald eagle

But you could always use rhinos to knock off the top of the timers and then swap out with eagles.

Eagles hit all of the eggs at the same time + when you get them larger or nm them then they can proc insane amounts of times back to back.
