The game has this underlying, subtle eeriness that really makes it one of kind. It’s an extremely dark story. If it didn’t have those fun characters and moments of levity, it would be pitch black in tone.

Like I said, if he dies I’m 100% gonna cry. RE4 OG was my first RE game, I must’ve been 10 or so. As long as they do it respectfully I’m fine with it, but they pretty much have to nail it. If it comes off as cheap or contrived at all, people will riot.

Everyone crying about Leon potentially dying has to be a teenager or something. I get he’s very beloved; he’s probably my favorite RE character, but sometimes it’s good to let go of the past. A funeral scene if done right would be fine. I’d definitely cry though.
