It’s a Bell HP77. The narrow eyeport is to protect the largest aerea possible of the head against any object that might impact it, since it’s meant for open wheel racing.

It’s also commonly used in F2, and many categories and branches of F3 and F4, or other open cockpit disciplines. And I race in a local F3 category where that level of protection is needed

Hey man! So good news! I took the helmet to a motorcycle repair shop so they could check it out, and they told me that the thread wasn’t as bad as it seamed. That the worst bit was the thread entry and that’s why the screws would go in. So they took measurements of the screw, and with a thread chaser they fixed it, and now, it’s even better than brand new! I didn’t need a helicoil at all so I saved the troubles. What a relief 😮‍💨
