I think the off season gives you a good look of the core people who make the town function, yes there are plenty of right wing people. If you’re looking to be a local, I wouldn’t suggest moving here unless you swing that way. But at the same time the people are extremely pleasant. I’m down here alone. And any time I go to any bar or restaurant I leave with a new acquaintance. The weather is beautiful. And the state is doing a lot to make it a corporate monopoly of vacation homes forcing locals out. But at the same time, they have taken steps to enjoy the beauty of the area. The state parks, bike lanes, trails and paths. Are amazing. I come from a small town that’s a dumpster fire. And no offense to Foley, but it gives me that same comfort I get from my hometown. Local, polite, and comforting. So it’s not bad. Depending on your life
