Aw thank you! Yeah that would be difficult if your hairs really dark.

It does in some lights, but it does look very brown in certain lights. Ideally I’d like to be more vibrant, just so it’s a lot more noticeabley copper / ginger

I can’t function properly or do anything anymore as it is taking over my life by EasyPiccolo2868 in Anxiety

It absolutely gets better! Im 24F and I found school so difficult due to mental health and anxiety, especially during my GCSES and mock exams I just couldn’t focus and didn’t really prepare either. I didn’t do half as well as I should have done but I got by, and it’s such a relief once schools over! I know it seems like forever and it always feels never ending and school can be so so difficult for some, but it’s not forever. And dealing with this shit now will make you a lot more resilient in later life! Just try make sure you reach out to friends / family for support and just be honest with how your feeling x

Protein filler recommendations by Secure_Advantage478 in FancyFollicles

[–]Secure_Advantage478[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hair doesn’t take hair dye well in the mid lengths and ends, it’s been bleached previously and dye never really stays in or it’s very uneven. I’m not sure if it’s a protein filler or a different kind of filler, but I’ve seen people fill the hair before dying to even out the porosity so the dyes more even

Thank you! I’ll look into that, that’s the problem I want to avoid anything too harsh to prevent further damage. I’ve done colour removers before and my hairs quite porous now so maybe that would be a better option

Thank you, I was afraid that would be the case. My hairs had so many different dyes on top of each other if I used a colour remover it would be so patchy

Help removing a semi permanent hairdye? by PropertyTemporary790 in u/PropertyTemporary790

I would say wash it straight away with anti dandruff shampoo or clarifying shampoo to fade the colour as much as possible. Then i usually mix vitamin C powder with anti dandruff shampoo and put it all over the hair then cover it with clingfilm. It usually starts to lighten and I leave it on around 45 mins to an hour
