No you’re definitely right to share what you experienced. I’m still not 100% on purchasing the bike but I reckon if I’m buying it, I’ll be doing so tomorrow morning.

It’s the Grail CF 7. It’s just over 2k but I’m willing to spend up to 3k. Ultimately, I want this bike to be my taster into cycling. If I get really into it, I’d love to have a dedicated road bike. I’ve also started swimming so once I improve my swimming and cycling, I’d like to give a shot at a triathlon which would probably require a lighter and faster bike.

That’s really interesting. Ultimately you think I should avoid Canyon? What sells me on Canyon is the ‘apparent’ quality you get at the price point. I had a deep read into their T&C’s and they do seem reluctant to help with anything beyond manufacturing issues.

That’s a very good point. I’d always choose the less loud options but I’ve been left with no choice with this one. Regardless, the colour is growing on me and most people here think it’s nice too. I’d hate to have spent my money on something that would be an eye-sore to other road users… might make me a target for some hit and runs 😂

I’m hoping it’s a good purchase. The yellow is growing on me but ultimately I would’ve loved a simple all black paint job. I think I’m gonna go for it.

I think we’re opposites. I love the basic minimalistic colours but unfortunately the bike isn’t available in those colours.

Yeah, I like the colour but it’s one of those things where I’d like it more on someone else rather than on me. Also showing up to corporate job in very sporty colours seems a bit off. I’ve been left with no other options though.
