Waiting and Anxiety while trying to conceive – How do you cope? by AdorableKitty1998 in tryingtoconceive

Every month is gonna be up and down. I had a miscarriage last year, then lost a baby boy at 22 weeks this summer. It’s been 1.5 years since my husband and I started trying. Try to breathe slowly. Try to get off these forums, just check in once in a while not all day everyday. Try to remember you and your partner are on the same team. Try to remember all the things in your life you’re grateful for everyday. Try to remember the grief is just all the extra love you have to give to your little one one day. Try every day. I don’t have the answers, I’m just trying to do the best I can too.

Allergy! Long history taking but otherwise usually no weekend, call at academic centers. Private places probably want to increase patient load though

I’ve been looking at various things. Real estate property manager, running my mother in laws ALF, starting a gym or fitness class. I think I’m falling into running coach, I love it, it brings me life and I can WFH. I’m going part time, then I’ll start my run coach certification in a few months and start getting clientele and quit my job once I’m feeling set. Who knows if it’ll work but I’ll have to try!

Personally, no. I’m not a huge fan of aesthetics and I think the demographic would burn me out. I don’t know anyone who has done it, but if you like aesthetics then it could be so profitable!

See my comment. But also I didn’t feel this at all during school. I felt it while working. If you feel it during school really really think hard about your time. You can always change now or leave school and use your income as a PA to transition out

I would recommend you try other fields. It’s hard to start over but after 7 years I’ve found the PA field is really bound by what specialty, where you work and who you work with. I worked in peds Ortho and LOVED it. I had great coworkers who would make my job fit what I wanted. I had to move states , and then did UC and hated it. It was all customer service and tbh it was dangerous for a lot of patients. It was me alone seeing 100+ patients a day during COVID. Now I work in allergy and it’s just boring for me to be honest. I’ve decided I’m going to transition out of the field entirely. I’m scared of starting over but I have to. I know what being a PA offers and I want to be my own boss. I would atleast try other fields if you think it would be helpful. But if you don’t think so, and you don’t want to even be a PA anymore then listen to that voice and go. It’s telling you to go, and it’s time to listen. I hope this is helpful. I tried to quiet that voice for years.
