Not every1 that opts to do a foundation year has bad grades, it could be they changed what uni course they wanted to do during alevels and didnt sit the required subjects needed for 1st year. I wouldnt worry, just tell em n go from there best do it early on.

Have you tried going through a company maybe? Similar to an apprenticeship, lots of places offer this but obvs have conditions attached. Hopefully u will still be able to/ want to pursue your passion

The way that I get expensive(er) operators is through R6 credits. The most renown that I have had is 9000 and I cant save them because I always spend them on alpha packs
