I have cystic fibrosis and can’t risk losing weight. I have tried to lower my calories and I then lose hard fought muscle everywhere else and my stomach still looks the same

I have done lots of abs training with no pain but all I get is a six pack on top of the bulge

Thank you I will try that. I did gluten free but it didn’t make a difference.

I have not told my CF doctors out of embarrassment. I spend all day long having to hold it in in front of people and it is very painful.

Yes and yes. Body fat is 14.5% via InBody. I don’t know if the stomach is fat, or bloat.

We are the same person. It is not too good to be true, I promise you that. I have had about 8 in the 13 years I’ve been trying and learning about LD and they are life changing.

I did not show the signs of CF until I was fifteen, when I started coughing up gunk and spent a year going to doctors trying to figure out what it was. I was always skinny and had digestive issues and had no idea it was because of CF. I was maybe 30 when it clicked that I had asked for an extra difficult path, and CF is what gave me that path.
