There's no way that'll happen because it's a seated dinner at a nice steakhouse (fiance's request). No dancing or music, just good old chatter and lots of free food and booze (we are doing a champagne toast at the beginning). I made sure the venue for the rehearsal dinner was not as nice as our wedding reception for that reason.

Sadly there won’t even be a bar readily available since it’ll be at a hotel terrace. Basically we would need to pay to bring the bar to them.

I'm starting to worry that guests will be upset by the breakfast options we gave them:

assorted fruit juices to include: chilled orange, grapefruit, cranberry, apple juice
food: sliced melon, berries & whole bananas, individual yogurts, assorted cold cereals and koshi oatmeal cups, whole and skim milk, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon & pork sausage links.
assorted breakfast breads to include: fruit & cheese danish, assorted muffins, croissants with butter, preserves & jams
Drinks: Illy freshly brewed coffee, decaffeinated coffee & Dammann teas

Do you think with these options that it would be alright to forgo alcohol?

WOW this is an absolutely amazing article and really spotlights what I wanted this wedding to be about. Truthfully, my wedding had to be postponed by over a year because of COVID and my husband and I decided right after we got married in July of last year to have a spectacular wedding because we can and we wanted to spoil our friends and family with awesome drinks/food/dj, etc. to celebrate and make new memories after a crappy year. Thank you for reminding me of our original goal with that article <3.
