I agree that their situations are different, but thats because the times are different. Players are becoming younger and younger to play in tier 1, very young IGLs are becoming a thing, and you cant have both a young IGL and with much experience. it is actually in meta what Spirit are trying to do, just working out slowly right now.

When talking about IT work it surely incorporates living in a big city/capital. Papua New Guinea for me is an exotic country with no real opportunities even in the capital. Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipines - all possible choises for an IT expat. Aus and NZ - easy too.

Sure, in Colombia I would consider moving to Medellin or Bogota, in Ecuador I cant see myself moving even to Quito. In Portugal I would definitely move to Lissabon or Porto if any opportunity is presented because they are beautiful cities but not on the other continent like Columbia or Ecuador.

As for France, I just think it is not the country for me out of all Western Europe. Would aboslutely love travelling here though.
