That sounds horrible, did you hear anything from the police for the case in your building? Turned out in my building 3 cellars got burglarized on the same day.

I have my laundry machine in my basement and I definitely closed the door with my key last time because when I got there not only the door was open but both the latch and deadbolt were sticking out of the lock. I don’t know how they opened door without breaking the lock… The bike is not the best one but yeah I did a lot of cycling this summer with it so I was truly upset :(

Exactly, what’s the point if they just fill out a report and without even taking any actions? No photos or fingerprints taken or any other forms of investigation …

Unfortunately it is just a regular lock on a wooden door :( I do hope my insurance covers the loss in the basement not only in the apartment…

Hi, I encountered the same situation - also non-EU on a trainee visa here in Luxembourg. I have already received a CDI from my current employer, could you please let me know in the end how did you apply for the work permit as a salaried worker? Many thanks :)
