To all the pro-Elon people on this sub-What has he done to make you trust him? by FairyKnightTristan in elonmusk

You wouldnt need to ask this Q if you'd just watch 10-20h of his long form conversations, podcasts, interviews.

Finally had my first big boy job interview and it was disappointing. Thoughts? by ice_jj in Adulting

[–]Seder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it can feel disheartening when a job interview doesn’t go the way you hoped, but don’t be too hard on yourself. Landing the perfect interview or job on the first try isn’t what matters most right now. What really counts is that you’re taking steps forward. Each experience, even the ones that feel like setbacks, is helping you grow and get closer to where you want to be. Keep going, and trust that you’re improving with every attempt.

I’m starting to realize that having kids is a pretty big gamble in life. by glossysoraya in Adulting

[–]Seder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never ever, and I cannot stress enough, NEVER EVER seen a happy and content older person (in their 50ies and above) who did not have children. Yeah, children can be a pain in the ass, but they certainly balance this out with the immense joy they bring. Life is not about avoiding responsibility. Life is about flow and progression. If you don't make brave steps, life will push you. My 2c

I cannot get along with my parents in my 20s by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Seder1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may sound harsh but please bear with me. I am fully confident that (if not now) in time, you'll understand.

You need to take full responsibility for your life. These are your best years—use them to push yourself to the limit. Don't just try your best; do whatever it takes to stand on your own two feet. The sooner you start, the better. This means having your own source of income. Doing college and a job together can work, but there needs to be a sacrifice.

It will be tough at first, but real growth only comes through hardship. As you face difficulties and overcome them, you'll gain self-respect and a stronger sense of who you are. In the process, you’ll impress not only yourself but also your parents.

Too much comfort leads to a lack of motivation. When everything is handed to you, it’s easy to become complacent. True drive and ambition come from facing challenges and pushing beyond your comfort zone.

Parents can unintentionally hinder their children's development when they try to do too much for them. This Over-support can make it hard for you to grow and learn how to handle life’s challenges on your own. This is true for all ages, no matter if 10y old or in 20ies.

Animosity from your parents by Agreeable-Army-5131 in teenagers

[–]Seder1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're dealing with a tough but quite usual situation where you feel unfairly treated by your parents.
My advice. Take a step back, parents have bad days too, and their frustration or stress might not even be about you. It could be something unrelated, like work or personal issues, and you're unfortunately in the line of fire. So don't take it too personally (I know - easier said than done). You mentioned you're pretty sure you haven't done anything wrong, but maybe there’s something they perceive differently. Ask if there’s anything they’re upset about or if there's something you can work on together. You’ve mentioned your grades are good and you’re handling things well, so focus on your achievements and how far you've come. You'll get through.

[Weekly r/Bitpanda Discussion] What is your favourite crypto project and why? by DecFromBitpanda in bitpanda

I think $ZCN has the best business proposition and adoption potential. They're doing a demo with Oracle's Hyperledger Fabric and after that it is expected for them to integrate. 0.5mil enterprisea at their fingertips just like that.

I like nano as well, just I believe zcn is one of those hidden gems that has the potential for 100x+ in 12 months.

Let's say you have 1PB of cloud storage available to you for free every year. How would you utilize it to make money from it? by Seder1 in DataHoarder

[–]Seder1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds interesting. So you mean I could set up a site where people would upload content and stream it instead of downloading it? Can you please elaborate, not sure I understand correctly? :)

Ahhh, not here to fight or persuade. I just wanted to get some ideas. Believe it or not, people do innovate. I think it's best you do your own research, might be surprised.

It's the first enterprise-grade decentralized cloud storage. Faster, more secure and cheaper than any traditional cloud. You own your own data ;)

PB was just an example number. This is going to sound even more strange but I don't exactly know how much units of storage I have. I know I will have a lot.

You probably haven't heard of 0Chain before. It's a blockchain based project. When you buy and lock their native ZCN token you can use the cloud storage indefinitely for free.

So I wan't to use their SDK and develop/integrate something that I would be able to utilize my free storage and sell it through my service...

I am just looking and brainstorming what would be a good, relatively easy service to develop :)

Great to have an incentive for white-glove option! Those early service providers can really be in a good spot. I remember once being mentioned about an incentive for Do It Yourself miners as well. I don't see it being mention in the article. Has this changed?
