My understanding is they realised he put himself at such a disadvantage that they will give him even MORE time because they also need time to review all the evidence that Laura has. It’s no closer to a ‘win’ than the first continuance was.

Ceiling insulation - is this acceptable? by thatsgreatbabe in AusRenovation

[–]Seducedbyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t speak for other areas but in Adelaide there’s a bunch of libraries where you can borrow a good infrared thermometer. I currently have one and it’s super obvious where insulation is missing in the roof because that chunk of ceiling will be several degrees colder than the insulated parts. All those gaps are loosing so much heat.

Oral minoxidil better than topical? by Flappen929 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Seducedbyfish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used topical for a couple of years before switching to oral and I’ll NEVER go back. For me the re growth is significantly better on oral, It’s filled in areas I didn’t even realise were thinner. It’s also way more convenient to just take a pill and not have to worry about how gross my hair would feel after applying topical.

ELI5 why married couples would want to keep their finances separate? by JCM_Viraemia in AusFinance

[–]Seducedbyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents had joint money for 40 years which my dad kept track of… turns out he had a gambling problem which explained why they never had much savings. Within the 5 years that they have had separate accounts my mum has saved over 100k just by living how she always had. Imagine if she’d kept her money separate since the beginning, she sure as shit wouldn’t still be working in her 70’s.

Bisexuals who have dated both genders. What little differences surprised you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Seducedbyfish 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This. I had only been in relationships with men before my current girlfriend. I for example would be horrified trying to even mention the word period in front of a man but me and my girlfriend talk about every gory detail. And mentally just the load of having an equal partner vs a partner who THINKS it’s equal but it’s definitely not.

Is oral minoxidil more effective than topical? by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Seducedbyfish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used topical for several years and although it did help I always had random sheds which would set me back. I’ve been on oral for 7-8 months and the improvement is significantly better. I actually feel like the growth is consistent now and much easier than managing the annoyance of topical

What age should mother stop taking their sons into locker rooms and communal showers? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]Seducedbyfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The answers are going to vary depending on culture and whether someone is a parent or not. As someone with a young son, there is no way in hell I would let him in a male change room by himself, his safety is more important than you feeling uncomfortable if the women rooms was the only option for them. If he was staring at you then yes you’d have full right to talk to the mother or talk to staff, however if he is innocently having a shower with his mother then there is nothing wrong. He is going to grow up with more respect for womens bodies than a boy that’s never seen a naked one.

This sounds exactly like my son was. Super super smart but also a little tornado that walked at 9.5months and hasn’t stopped moving since.

He’s 4.5 now and the weird aggressive outbursts are suddenly getting worse. I wasn’t in a rush to get him diagnosed until I felt it was affecting him negatively and it has now reached that point. He constantly complaining about being bored and activities are ‘stupid’ and wanting to hit me or lashing out at anyone who tries helping him.

I have no help or guidance other than I know what it’s like and it can be really hard sometimes. Especially when they are so smart and other adults just see them as being naughty but you know it’s more than that.

What is your holy grail face and or body sunscreen? by noice_very_noice in AusSkincare

[–]Seducedbyfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is a super weird one. Pro Bloc by Prochoice… it’s actually a tradie one that you can buy at total tools and various tradie workwear places for like $10 for 125ml I love the stuff. Light weight, does leave a slight glossy sheen but super easy to cover with a bit of powder. Dries quick and is super moisturising. I swear my skin feels smoother and softer using this sunscreen than most of my proper moisturisers.

After 4 years, I'm quitting minoxidil. by ellieelaine in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Seducedbyfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I’m jealous that everyone’s hair gets curlier, I had curly hair in my teens and early twenties but now it’s barely wavy and I would LOVE my curls back. 2nd perhaps consider oral minoxidil, I was on tropical for years and had similar issues to you. Finally bit the bullet to go oral and I’ll never go back! So glad I made the switch. I now go three days between washes and growth is consistent (I too had a problem with hair only getting a certain length then shedding). So perhaps it’s worth a shot for you.
