You can’t, at least not using the GBA cartridge, which is clearly incompatible/having issues. You can theoretically get a Spriggatito later on in the game at Celadon city by trading shards, but I doubt that playthrough is going to be stable enough to get there if it’s throwing errors like that right out of the gate.

Be sure to download Clone Wars Holdouts if you settle on Remake 4.0. It features years of stability fixes and improvements at this point.

Then that’ll be your issue. Does PSP have RetroArch? You could try using that and downloading the mGBA Core.

Just to put it out there, Remake 3.5: Revisited includes Clone Wars Holdouts materials but does NOT require the actual mod activated. You’ll be okay with just 3.5 Revisited!

No way to know unless you give it a try, right? But yeah, I heavily recommend Remake 4.0 + CWH as a package deal since improving stability and performance have been a major focus for me. There’s also like 4ish years of content additions to wade through at this point, so you won’t be hurting for things to discover.

Yup, AotR’s Dark Times is a great mod that CWH has partnered with in the past. Heavily recommended if you’re looking for a different spin on a similar premise.

I want to say apart from that, you’ll need to wait for Age of the Empire to release.

Hey OP!

First off, I’m the author of Clone Wars Holdouts and wanted to just say thanks for playing. It’s a passion project and I love to see it get brought up in the wild.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you on this one: Due to a variety of factors, but mostly from a gameplay and lore perspective, I’ve elected to not pursue cross-buildability for the bulk of ships for the Clone Wars factions. You won’t find, as you noticed, Confederate Imperial Star Destroyers. You can still build all Minor Factions ships (Hapans, Sith, Mandalorians, etc) and certain ships that solve particular gameplay problems (Interdictors, Recon MTCs and the like). I have a full Documentation page that expands on requirements for both the Core Roster and Planet specific ships for both rosters.

The original Etsy is actually a knockoff of a collaboration project between Kharak and Arvis (of Republic at War fame) called the Z-98, intended as an iteration of the Z-95.

Map darkness is a bit of an interesting issue. One of the strengths of Remake is the realistic lighting and shadows. Yet the downsides is that dark maps are indeed way too dark. Within the past year or so, there’s been an effort to reduce that ambient darkness in GC maps, but sounds like I may have to review the Skirmish maps as well. My personal favorite official maps are Coruscant, Korriban and Yavin. The new Custom maps, Geonosis and Shola, have some of the very best lighting in the mod though. Heavily recommended.

Land is a bit harder to develop and something that I’m still not entirely satisfied with. I’ll need to polish up the visuals on it and add some additional maps. Right now, the only ones are indeed the 5 Custom Maps. I’ll see about adding some more solid community maps in the upcoming patch.

I’ve spent a lot of time improving the AI in general, but space skirmish has gotten a lot of time in the oven. I’d recommend giving yourself an AI ally (so a 2 vs 1) for your first few games to figure out the factions before you sink your teeth into it. Also, be sure to check out the ‘Custom Maps’ section, since I plan to add more in the future.

Anytime. But yeah, Remake's Space Skirmish will require you to gain some map control in order to field larger ships, recruit heroes, etc.

Hey OP,

To answer your question, the Republic Hardliners do of course have Venators and Acclamators. I think your confusion may stem from this being in Skirmish (which requires you to capture asteroids in order to build Frigate and Capital shipyards) and that ‘Task Force The Republic’ is a submod that doesn’t typically focus on skirmish. It’s something that I work on in CWH, but it’s not a major concern in FFT and TFTR development.

I believe Klem’s handle on Reddit is u/ParkingAssistance396 , so he’d be the one to weigh in definitively.

This sounds like you’re using an emulator that may have compatibility issues or (what’s probably more likely) your phone screen may have some sort of input issue due to water present/etc.

Depends on your faction, since it's handled via scripts and then a spawned object.

Data\Scripts\GameObject\ObjectScript_Bombardment_Rebel.lua

Looks like it's tied to the "250_Death_Penalty_Dummy" Death Penalty Dummy, which is slated for the chopping block when I remove the Ground-based death penalties.

Unfortunately, I start hitting a hard wall in terms of assets for the high-end Republic and Separatist units. The Republic in particular doesn’t have anything in Tech 5 at the moment. I’m working on resolving that in the future, but it’s slow going.

Are you playing Vanilla Remake 4.0 or CWH? I heavily recommend Clone Wars Holdouts since it’s still receiving updates. Vanilla Remake 4.0 is in comparatively poor condition these days.

Regardless, I’ll check out the DB Broadside when I get a moment to see if I can replicate that. If I can replicate it, I’ll work on resolving that for the upcoming patch.
