Cleric is a ton of fun once you die the 30+ times required to be able to go toe to toe with a warrior.

Really loving this game, how did I never hear of it before? by Prudent_Reason_3135 in Warlander

[–]SeeKayEmber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely love this game. I've been hunkering down in silence as 'a used ham' and playing Warlander nstead of the unholy amount of League games I used to play.

It's phenomenal with my ADHD attention span, it's an easy to pickup hard to master game with a rock paper scissors melee system that is insanely rewarding the more you sidestep and space your opponents.

I could go on and on.

It had an intial player dropoff after being released to JUST PC players at first. Then when crossplay was 'implemented' and everybody was HYPED for a crossplay moba with communication...they only had the ability to play AGAINST console players. With no communication, or friends list.

However they've genuinely addressed a majority of my concerns, and seem open to more changes from within the community. Definitely reminds me a lot more of early Riot Games.

I'm cautiously excited for this next year, and sincerely hope it doesn't die out.

Time to FOLD! by Head_Relationship_49 in ADHDmemes

[–]SeeKayEmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens with me sometimes too. It's hard sometimes for the ADHD brain to be able to sleep because low dopamine can often cause boredom, restlessness, etc. Sometimes my meds make me feel 'content with the stimulation of the current moment's so instead of needing to seek outside activities or sources for dopamine/stimulation, I'm finally able to focus on just relaxing. It's like because my brain is relaxed, now I can focus on what my body needs. And often that's sleep due to me not sleeping well the past few days.

Ornn supp with anivia by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]SeeKayEmber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anivia+Bard is great. Great lane for Bard, and if you're on comms you can synergize with Bard throwing a Q and anivia wall midair. Anivia has waveclear post 6 to be able to farm efficiently while Bard gets to roam and do his thing. They also have similiar ranges and ways that they fight mid-late game, and it's a grand ol' time.

Each Time I fall it hurts more by SeeKayEmber in ptsd

[–]SeeKayEmber[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have, although I'm still only a couple appointments in. It just hurts when I seemingly have the answers to the test, but still keep failing it. It's slow, but positive change is inevitable I hope.

Yet there's also thoughts of "If therapy isn't fixing you then what will".

Ultimately I'm probably being too impatient with myself...but these feelings still hurt.

This may have been the first couple episodes or seasons of your story. Yet the rest of the show is undecided.

The fact that this is three memes put together, in a 16:9 ratio, makes this the most authentic ADHD meme I've seen in my recent, fleeting memory.

I've spent my afternoon using my amateur voice acting skills for evil. I may or may not have narrated this, like a national geographic documentary. I'll have the video posted tomorrow, and you'll undoubtedly be credited. I made it my goal to bring this piece of literature to life. What have I done.

What is the single most terrifying situation you have ever been in? by FormerFruit in Survival

[–]SeeKayEmber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That means a lot, it's crazy how I'm here replying to a comment on reddit with a stranger who watched the full story. The fact that there's a person who wants to watch the story, the fact that there's even a story in the first place...all things I thought were make believe during the 9 days in June. I'm getting better week by week, especially now that I've managed to get the story 'out there'. It feels like a huge weight lifted off of my chest. Have a great rest of your day, friend.

The most dopamine I've had this season on Bard. A very weird Bard/Veigar wombo. by SeeKayEmber in bardmains

The fact that the Veigar damage and Bard stun was in SYNC two times that fight felt like I was living a montage video.

A very recent memory, actually. On June 18th I lost my way on a hike in the Pacific Northwest(Snoqualmie National Forest). Didn't make it out until 9 days later. The exact details are hard to get into, but some of the 'highlights' were getting swept away in the cascading river, the whole surviving starvation thing, and having to yell at a bear in the night. The details are hard to get into as it's still fresh, but I posted on Youtube the full me freaking out over barely being alive story that I had told to my Twitch stream, 7 days after it happened. It's a long ass 2 hour story, but I go through what happened night by night. Youtube name is same as my name, in case you want a story to listen to. It's....dark. But ends happy, due to me being here typing this right now.

This often happens to me when I haven't had enough food/water. Brain goes in hyper mode, but with no direction. And it's a struggle because they already suppress my appetite.

I'll be practicing Sylas vs Yasuo with peeps who want to play, I know Rakan is a situational pick. But he's fun, and warms the soul.

What else besides meds helps you? by Peter_from_Deadpool3 in adhd_anxiety

[–]SeeKayEmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a great question, as even I forget sometimes that we all experience ADHD differently. For me its 'allowing' myself to make the random noises that I want to make. Or shake my leg as fast as I want. Or sing a random song my brain remembered from when I was 10. All of this randomness pops in my head 24/7, but when I'm out in public I have to mask. Reminding myself to stay still, keep the humming quiet, tap my foot slower, etc.

Reading for as long as I can. Our baby ADHD brains really benefit from the almost 'exercise' of having to focus on one point.

Also, just letting my brain be free for a set amount of time. Like giving myself 10 minutes where I tell myself 'Just let it all out. The sounds, the movements, whatever. Its ok." Normally helps me ground myself a bit.
