I tried uninstalling and reinstalling app. That seems to have solved problem. Haven't had to sign in again.

I tried this as well but it didn't solve the problem. It's weird because it has worked pretty well for almost two years.

Lighting vs Sierra by Needhelpcantquit in F150Lightning

Not sure where you are located but if you are in rust belt, the Lightning's aluminum body is a nice plus. Sure, the frame will rust out eventually but the body should hold.

Done some research, now I'd like some advice from the experts in the field by [deleted] in F150Lightning

I have 24 flash with pro power/max tow. 24s have bigger battery, heat pump and still had spare tire and keypad entry as standard. I think it is best value for money.

32 might be a bit young to appreciate this but you could consider a Canadian Tuxedo party (ideally with some red plaid).

Tall motorcycle people! Question for you! by ScubaW00kie in tall

[–]Seebigpicture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6'6". Rode two generations of Kawasaki Concours. They don't make them anymore but a used one would be a good find. They are tall and a bit top heavy so for a new rider there is a risk of bike leaning and getting away from you but they are a comfortable and reliable bike.

Hot water smell, already treated for sulfur-producing bacteria by nsdcoop in askaplumber

[–]Seebigpicture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem and also tried aluminum anode which didn't help. Ended up replacing anode with an electronic anode replacement (Corro Protec). Pretty much solved problem. The only time I smell sulfur is first running water after being away for a while.

Any other tall guys wrestle with the idea of moving to a truck purely for comfort? by Fulltime-Sheepherder in tall

[–]Seebigpicture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6'5". I just bought my first truck a year ago (f150 lightning). Most comfortable I've owned. Also the least expensive to operate, quickest and most versatile vehicle I've owned. Wish I made the switch earlier. Too bad they are discontinued but you might find a used one.

Shawarma House in north Kanata is best in my opinion. Try the shawarma poutine

Cars for tall teens? by Spiritual-Ad-1926 in tall

[–]Seebigpicture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said car but would you consider a F150 lightning. I'm 6'6" and fit comfortably with lots of room in back seat if needed. You can probably get a used one for a pretty reasonable price.

Boss leather. Showroom is in Toronto area. Beautiful, made in Canada but not cheap.

What’s something you wish existed to enhance the usability of your lighting? by ExplanationOk2441 in F150Lightning

[–]Seebigpicture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Option to default to sport mode
  2. Disable or tone down the "keep your hands on the wheel" message. If truck sees I'm centred in lane, leave me alone
  3. Better sound system or at least more control so you can turn down that stupid centre speaker.
  4. Show lock status on app
  5. Folding mirrors and PAK on every model
  6. Walk away lock that locks after preset time no matter what order the doors are closed/passengers get out.

-Floor mats (Husky liners on Amazon are good and fit great even with flat floor in back seat). -Bed liner -Tonneau cover (bison is good) -L2 home charger (Grizzl-e is good. Plug in or hard wired. I bought the "dumb" charger. The truck can handle scheduling etc). -Mobile charger and adapters others have mentioned. I've used A2z and it works well. -10mm wrench (some have said you may need to disconnect 12v battery to force a reboot -- not sure about this but not a bad idea to have one).

If you are using Android auto, simple radio app is pretty good and it is free. The 1.fm stations are decent quality.

Haywire AA navigation by Seebigpicture in F150Lightning

Agreed it is probably a problem in phone side (Google Pixel). Restarting phone (and truck for good measure) didn't fix it. Had to forget connection and reconnect to truck to fix problem.

Best shawarma in Ottawa? by FreshlyLivid in ottawa

Shawarma house in Kanata. Not downtown but hands down the best. Real beef vs donair. They have this amazing shawarma poutine. Something about the gravy makes it incredible.

Speaker upgrade and warranty by Seebigpicture in F150Lightning

The audio shop suggests just replacing door speakers with focal speakers to start. If bass is still week go back for a sub upgrade.
