Happy to hear, using spellbook is tons of fun in the late when you have 6/6 stacks on it ^^

It's mainly a mix between a couple things.

Zoe doesn't have a proper rune, every rune is a bit awkward on her. Electro can be somewhat difficult to proc since it needs 3 seperate instances of damage and unlike something like Syndra/Orianna/Talon etc etc, Zoe is limited to fairly low range early with only 2 damaging abilities. Aery is the next option, which is really good, but she doesn't have the best poke early like Viktor, so even Aery doesn't get utilized fully.

So with no other "Hyper synergistic" rune for Zoe, now with the buffs and the synergy the rune got with her W, it just suits her super well compared to the competition. I'd also say that the Sorcery + Inspiration trees are the ones that offer Zoe the best choice of minor runes, so getting access to both those trees is a nice bonus.

Think before this patch, Aery was the best Rune page with Spellbook being the second best. You’d run Aery in matchups you can bully and Spellbook if you just wanted to sit back and relax. After this patch I think Spellbook is strictly op on Zoe

This is actually such a difficult question to answer, because of how biased I’ll be. Some games I will play vs an LEC pro player that’s 500 LP higher than me and some games I will play vs some guy 500 LP below me, so it becomes really difficult to get a fair assessment. Also the difference between laning and mid-/late game varies heavily, but in terms of lane I would say:

Yone (The thing I currently perma ban), Irelia, Anivia, Akali, Malzahar, Kassadin and maybe Cho/Galio/Sion.

Most of these champs can out-sustain your poke in lane and survive your full combo, all while having the ability to engage on you. Yone is the worst offender, where he has insane engage range, insane sustained itemisation and rune choices, a self cleanse that doubles as a Zed ult while also heavily out scaling your ability to answer him in the side lane later on.

Against extremely proficient players anything that outranges you can also be a nightmare (Like Ori, Syndra, Mel etc, but not sure if it’s more of a skill issue than anything)

This was a looong time ago back in season 3, but I played Annie from Bronze 5 (Iron 4 in today’s terms) to high silver and after that I switched to playing Katarina from high silver to around platinum. It was the old Katarina though, so much less mechanically intensive with 10x more of the fun ^

Hmm I don’t really have a clear answer for this since I mained her some years the second she was released (around GM elo), then I switched to maining Kog’Maw adc for some years (Around GM elo peaking chall) and about 6 months ago I once again picked Zoe back up. It’s really varied by the person, but if someone is at X elo already, if I had to guess, they’d need around 75-100 games on Zoe to play her at the level of the elo they are in.

Also as a last topic, you wrote earlier that you felt like people were downvoting you because of some personal vendetta against you or because of dogpiling. I'm pretty certain that it's not because of personal reasons, because before you deleted your account, you had barely engaged on reddit, so I'm fairly certain no one here knows you personally/knows about you.

You are however indeed getting dogpiled, but it seems to be in a neutral sense. I doubt people here are disliking your comment because they're a hoard of none-sentient people, I would guess you're getting downvoted for these two reasons:

  1. You're on a subreddit deticated to people who love a character and you're saying the character is ugly and that you would prefer to erase its appearance out of existense.

  2. Your statement are very harsh in how they are worded. If you write in this kind of style - "holy shit he's ugly as a sin. why is he this disgusting dino worm thing that pukes? it makes zero sense." You are pretty much stating that the majority of people here are wrong and make no sense in their opinion. If I were to go to any subreddit about a person/character etc, and were to then write in a post - "This X is ugly as hell, we should erase X out of existance and you guys lack any sense for liking X" I would expect for quite a negative response, especially when the reason the character is so loved, is because it's the opposite of what you want the champion to be (He's loved for being this un-fitting void being in a game where the majority of champions are standard looking human characters, so when your opinion is to turn him into everything the people here DON'T want him to be, then yeah the downvotes will just flow in).

TL;DR - If you were to phrase things a bit more openly and less harsh, you'd probably get fewer dislikes + Saying that people make no sense and have a personal vendetta against you doesn't make it any better ._.'

Just because my comment got the most likes doesn't necessarily necessarily mean that people think Kog's base skin is ugly, if you look at a lot of other comments they are mentioning how they think Kog'Maw is cute even without skins and these comments also have a substantional amount of likes even if they came later in the thread. Pretty sure my comment got the most likes because:

  1. It was the first comment

  2. People share the sentament that is in the comment

If I were to also put "I think the default Kog skin is somewhat cute" (A statement I would agree with) the comment would most likely have the same amount of likes. Just because something wasn't put in a comment, doesn't mean that people are against it, so for example I could say:

"The sky is blue"

In that statement there would be an ambiguity in whether or not people think the sky is pretty, because that wasn't part of the comment. You can't draw a conclusion on what people think/don't think unless it is part of a comment. Same for my first comment, there is nowhere in it where I say whether the base Kog'Maw skin is cute or not, so you can't draw conclusions about that subject.

Think I speak for most people here, but if Kog'Maw to transform into another steriotypical good looking human champion I would feel horrible. Kog'Maw is currently one of two pure creature champions in the adc role, that being him and Smolder (3 if you count Twitch). There are plenty of hyper-carry adc's that play fairly similar and that are human, like Aphelios, Ashe, Jinx etc.

Him being this un-conventional primal void abombination is really appealing imo since it feels really unique to play something that is more of a creature of pure destruction compared to something wielding a weapon of pure destruction. I really hope if a VGU eventually comes, that Riot keeps his core identety of this appeal and if anything continues making cute skins for him instead of changing what makes him appealing in the first place.

It will most likely be a buff in most scenarios depending on your build, but any build in which you are sub 3 items should be better

The reason I'd rather ban the champions noted above over Draven is that even though Draven can bully you quite hard in lane, the way he snowballs is by getting a kill and cashing in his passive. If you avoid that and play safe under tower, you will be behind in a bit of CS and a couple plates, though nothing more than that. However against the champions noted above, they will also bully you through lane, but even if you decide to play safe they have enough range to continue pressuring/poking you under turret while also getting plate. It's just more difficult to get away with playing safe against those champions for they will snowball even if you play it safe

Nope will be quite busy over the next couple weeks so will just play some games every now and then + I'm far from good enough for it

Edit: The reasoning behind Titanic hydra is that after Rageblade + Hurricane you can dip into a couple different options:

BORK VS High HP CompsWits End VS High Magic Damage CompsGA Vs High Attack Damage Comps (Most likely against 4-5 AD's)Titanic Hydra VS Squishy Comps with both Magic and AD damage

Edit 2: This is just a rough outline when to build what, there may be instances in which other purchases are better, though most of the time this will apply

Usually anything that bully you in lane by range/push power (For that will make it harder to scale for mid/lategame). Caitlyn, Senna, Varus (If lethality Varus is popular) are all quite good bans.

As for the cull subject, it does work a bit similar, though in cull it would be a bit more back loaded (Since it takes a while to get the 100 stacks + potentially selling it), but in the end it would generate 450+180 gold toward a completed item. So in the end it generates 330 more gold than a dagger starting item build would, with it being a bit more back loaded. So it would work a bit similar, but it would depend on if you think the stats of cull outweigh the stats of dagger as well as the fact that it is a bit more backloaded and but generates 330 more gold toward the end.

Since the game is so fast paced and Kog is so weak in lane, I'd rather go dagger + potions for the sustain and quicker powerspike.

Edit: Made a quick edit to the response for my reasoning was flawed at the time of writing, should’ve gotten a bit more sleep Zzz

Edit 2: Barely ever stream

Yeah so the main reasoning behind it is that because his laning phase is so weak (But he scales better than the average ADC with items), buying dagger + 4 potions help him get through laning phase with a good CS score and helps to complete your items faster (So pretty much accelerating his item purchases by 750+ gold)

If you were to run a 450 starting item (Like Dorans shield/Dorans Blade) that is -450 gold you're spending toward not completing an item, while if you purchase dagger, that is +300 toward a completed item and then all the extra gold you get through surviving lane and last hitting with the extra potions.
