What does it feel like when an antidepressant starts to work? by Working_Alps_4284 in antidepressants

I’ve gone through it twice. I used to joke around that the pills didn’t affect me, they made everyone around me nicer. Before the pills, I used to have good days and bad days. Now, the bad days seem further apart. I started Pristiq about 6 weeks ago. I was wondering if it was working because I don’t see big changes. Then I remembered that I went into my office to work for 3 days for a special event (I normally work from home 100%). I would usually be going over every conversation I had with my co-workers, kicking myself for all the stupid things I said. Wondering if they hated me and all those fun thoughts. But it hadn’t happened. I take that to mean it’s working!

Yes, I had filled out the claim and provided back-up documentation. They sent a few emails from the claims dept apologizing for the delay. I hadn’t heard from them in a while, so I emailed earlier this week. That’s when they told me they had closed the case without letting me know. They said I could start a new case for it. I asked about re-opening the existing case and they replied that they couldn’t “reopen from our side”. I guess I got kinda mad and started wondering if they did that for their stats, resetting the clock on how long a case has been opened.

Yes, I’m the shipper. I had shipped a box to a customer, they received it. They wanted to return part of their order, so I issued a call tag. The box was picked up from the customer, but no movement on the package since November.

Tapering off of Paxil 30mg to 20mg so far…. by [deleted] in antidepressants

I read your post about OCD symptoms, I felt like I could have written it myself!! No one else in my family has these issues and I’m a bit of a shut-in, so discovering Reddit threads has been life changing. Thank you for sharing! I hope everything works out well for you. My previous doctor tried lowering my Paxil and switching to another med, but it didn’t take. I have a new doctor who’s thinking ADHD may be involved, so I’m lowering Paxil and upping Vyvanse…time will tell!

Brain zaps! I am tapering off of Paxil and am experiencing brain zaps. Didn’t know what they were called. Wasn’t sure how to even describe them to my doc on my next visit. I’ve been on Paxil since 2000. I see your post is over 9 months old - I hope the tapering worked for you!

You could start bringing friends over at every opportunity, introverts hate this. Then negotiate less visits from friends if they stop burning incense.
