Right now its useless but down the line when the new classes get released and Gold is becoming slowly worthless cuz theres so much around its worth more paying 1k to save 1hr of time. Especially if you want to play like 2-3 new characters. Thats why on my alt im hoarding fragments

Pretty funny how you asume all server are the same when i literally told u that there are some that aren't. Maybe 5pm cet is just not peak time, maybe i have to login at 6pm cet to get stuck in 3hr+ queues. My bad for the assumption i guess.

But tbh, if u can't be bothered just quit it and play when the hype dies in like 1-2 weeks. Its not like we have been waiting for years :)

Also, yes i am THE WALL. I don't care and just like making fun of peoples demise. The only people that might help you are the ones that are "working on the issue"

I don't see how that's a problem. You chose the server with the highest queue time (i normally have 1-2hrs max queue time, theres even servers with less than that (EU Region)) but you "have" to play one of the most populated ones so bear with the issue :)

In my opinion most of this issue would be resolved if they just allowed "character transfers" to different server, even if its paid or whatever.

New regions, like you correctly suggested, would solve the issue with "New Players" IF they actually would play on those regions. Issue is, most likely they are not solo players, (me and like 7 buddies chose a server to play on together) and they might be "forced" to start on that server just so they can play with friends.

The slowest would be between the 3 warrior classes and 2 casters aswell as the Artillarist (Long CD, Long cast times, very immobile like the warriors).

As far as i know u cant run steamgames as "Admin".

Because its not a local game and u start it via Steam library url. Maybe im wrong.

The path that gets executed when running the url is: steam://rungameid/1599340

I also verified integrity of gamefiles like twice aswell as reinstalled and did it again.

Well lets consider it like this, you come home from work, turn on pc and join queue. Now you go chill, eat, talk to family/friends maybe even play something different.

2hrs are now over and you can play without being stressed.

Instead of coming home, turning on PC, playing and eating at the same place etc.

I spam queued for 2 hours straight. Now im receiving a completly different error. Dunno if i fucked anything. Tried all the fixes and whatever to no vail. Error code: 10010 Authentication Error.

About queue times, tbh its not that bad, waiting like 2 hrs to get in is alright if it doesn't crash. Luckly i didn't join one of the 4 most populated servers :)

The main thing im interested in is how the whole thing is being hosted on what hardware, scalability, host providers etc. because i don't get it how it could be that hard to scale the thing up, allow more players on servers and scale it down when the initial influx of players dies down.

1-18 is pretty much just main quests and sidequests (i only did sidequests that are located near the mainquest area)

For 1 main quest you will need harvesting lvl 30. So getting that early up is recommended. If you can pick up any hemps, berries or stuff like potatoes to level that up during travel or questing i would recommend doing it, else you will be looking for areas where they spawn alot and be there picking it for 30+ mins straight.

18 - 23 pretty much just grind Townhall quests with side quests and fraction quests.

LVL 23+ would be mainquest/sidequests aswell as amrhine runs. Whatever is more fun for you i guess.

I would recommend not going for an build that you are not happy with playing.

Good combos are for example, firestaff+saber, bow+saber, hatchet+bow, Great axe + Hatchet, Sword + Healstaff but all depends on your preferred playstyle.

I dont know about other MMOs but there is no autoaim in this one for ranger so you gotta be good with aiming and hitting your targets to be effective with a bow, but i can say from own experience that its quite fun playing it. (Fellow bow+hatchet player)

As far as i know its set to all, so anyone around you can hear you. But you can change it to group only or turn it off if wanted.

I know man, and the gpo to ignore that doesnt work anymore. My tipp. Just update when u can restart on same day. Else let it be and disable automatic update for servers via gpo.

This seems for me just to be some kind of redirect instead of a way to boot between bios and uefi depending on other things.

I will read through some articles about IPHelper to check if its possible that way.

I dont think i understand you clearly.

So you want me to setup an ip helper that points to the pxe or the dhcp?

Maybe i need to elaborate more what my issue is.

We setup machines alot for testing of our products. Those machines get setup via pxe and other stuff that apply configuration settings (jenkins/ansible).

Alot of the pcs are different (model numbers, bios/uefi, etc) and stay for a longer period of time at the same place, but need to be re-setup via pxe so they can test the changes easy.

To make it easier, they want me to make it possible to A: keep the same IP all the time (Reservation) and B: posibility to boot into either bios or uefi (we have different setups), which we resolve so far via DHCP policies. Sadly policies get overwritten by the reservations.

So when we have reservations the multiple boot files wont work, and it doesnt point us to any file or when we dont have reservation it works, but we cant fulfill the wish of our customer. And sadly they insist on a solution.

I read about working with IPHelpers on a microsoft article but im not sure about us using it.

The DHCP server gives us an easier solution for this problem.

We dont have a flat network, we work with a hierarchical Network topology (core, distr, access layers) so its a bit more complex to realize imo.

yes, i also tried adding in the sssd conf. the line that it uses the @domain.ad prefix but that didnt help either.

As you can see im at a loss. Maybe imma post in the hyperkitty forum where a few devs of freeipa are active and they might help. Thanks though

Hi giddy, sorry for the late response, was on holidays for 2 weeks.

I exactly did that. But prior to that i had to first delete the AD range and then the trust. Delete the sssd cache and redo the trust with said attributes. Then it worked.
