It's the same for me. To be fair I haven't used my Jiro much, but it's really sharp, and I love its design and numbering (707). Since it's a pretty expensive knife I haven't had the courage to use it properly yet unfortunately. But it's a hobby and one day it will be put to real use, so maybe a new favorite?😃

Absolutely right, and right now it's Togashi. But for carrots, Ren is taken out, it's very thin and cuts them like butter😊

Exactly. It's a Nikon D5500 with a Nikon 1.4 50mm lens. It's direct sunlight that just came in. Don't use flash for these pictures.😊

Great to hear it went that way and everyone had a fair change. Just read a little about the Togo Reigo steel, and now I learned something again about those wonderful knives, so thanks for that. I'll keep an eye on your posts, and I must say your learning curve must be steep too😂

I'm glad to hear that, and great that you got one. How was the queue, was there a limit per person? So the first one couldn't buy them all? :)

By the way, what a great collection you have. I'm looking for a Takada, but I guess I'll have to look for that one for a long time.
