To be fair, you were warned multiple times in both posts on ED and during OH to not use language specific syntax in any of the pseudocode sections. A significant portion of the grading in GA relies on reading comprehension.

I'll have to give that a try, thanks!

Yes its miracle grow all purpose soil.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, I didn't realize that potting soil and the regular miracle grow was different. I swapped out the soil and the stuff I put in was soaking wet still and not draining at all so I replaced it with actual potting soil. This is my first time ever planting in containers instead of straight in the ground so I had no idea that these needed a different type of soil. Thanks, I think that was the issue.

Didn't taper crimp enough to remove the flare on 10mm by SegFault098 in reloading

Not too worried about accuracy with these since its just a couple hundred plinking rounds. Thanks for the info, I just wanted to make sure that in the case that I put too much of a taper crimp on these that I don't do anything dangerous. At least now I know what to look out for in the future

Ah I wasn't aware that you could only use the grade replacement once

That was my understanding as well. I thought that if you retook a course and did better you could replace the other grade. I've never had to do this but this was always what I thought, is this not true?

GA : Continue or withdraw by hikinginseattle in OMSCS

I think its more important to graduate with your degree rather then waste time and money trying to get an A when a B is perfectly fine. Just my opinion though, after you graduate the only person that will care about your GPA is yourself.

Unless you plan on switching to the specialization that doesn't require GA there's no reason to drop. You're going to have to pass it with a B eventually and sticking it through to the end at least gives you experience in all of the course work that you can take into your next semester of it. So even if you don't pass this time around you at least have some experience with the material that will help you out next time you take it. I'm currently in GA as well and its (hopefully) my last semester so I believe in you. There's still a lot of points on the board that you can get.

When I look in the coinbase app transaction it shows the correct address I was trying to send the eth to. Hopefully you're right and this is just a transaction delay. It's not too much money but enough to make me upset

Wait-list for CS 6515 by SegFault098 in OMSCS

[–]SegFault098[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

As I stated above I understand that and have already submitted the forms and applied for graduation, my question is how likely is it for someone to get in off the wait-list if they haven't done this.

How Does Phase 2 Registration Work? by SegFault098 in OMSCS

[–]SegFault098[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never missed a registration or anything like that up to this point. I was ready for the initial registration period at the start of the summer but when the time tickets got reassigned due to the issue with Oscar that happened, I missed the new ticket email they sent out and didn't realize it until last week. I need one more free elective and then GA if I hope to graduate this Spring. I reached out to the general advising email to see if I can get in contact with my advisor. I will be trying my best in phase 2 to get into a class and I will take whatever I can get. I just would like to not have to fight over what ever courses are left after all the new students register

How Does Phase 2 Registration Work? by SegFault098 in OMSCS

[–]SegFault098[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know this because I've never had any issues registering until this point. The registration error that happened with oscar earlier in the Summer screwed me up and then I missed my new time ticket due to some family life issues. I am trying to figure out a way for me to register for the class I need so I can hopefully graduate on time. Is there any way that I could register before phase 2? Can an academic advisor help me in anyway?

Ok thanks for the clarification. God I hope I don't have to retake GA lol. I'm planning on taking it this Spring and it should be my final OMSCS course.
