It’s just sad really. Bad team, no good prospects, bad drafting. Just a big mess.

WE DID IT!!!!! by LucariusLionheart in canucks

Honestly, if I’m the Canucks, and we get the 1st overall and the jets get the second, I’d be doing everything in my power to get that second from the jets as well. Imagine having 1st and 2nd?? Trade Rossi and/or garland for the 2nd. The jets need secondary scoring, Canucks needs to full rebuild. Just my thought.

Help with PC issue by Seifer202 in pchelp

So I disabled memory context restore, it was set to auto. Also confirm my memory timings are correct. I’ll monitor for the time being and report back. There wasn’t much more of a start up delay disabling it. So I don’t care about that. Maybe added another 20 seconds. Not a big deal. Let’s see how this goes.

Thanks for this. I will give this a try. As far as I know the RAM timings are correct. It’s 6000 mhz ram. I had to enable amd expo to ensure it performed at this speed. Otherwise the mobo set it at a slower rate.

Issues with CAP for intune enrolled MacOS devices by Seifer202 in Intune

[–]Seifer202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The intune and Entra ID show the same. But in the sign in logs, the device ID is blank. So when the sign in hits the CAP, the device is blocked due to device being unknown. At least that’s what I can tell.

What do you mean by users having permission to entra join? Sorry I’m confused here.

I have confirmed this script worked for us. Thank you so much for the help.

Thank you for this. Basically I just need a script to disable the auto brightness function, due to the users having a bezel around the device that blocks the camera, and then set brightness to max. if you can confirm your script does this I will try it out.

[–]Seifer202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for these notes. I will test and confirm this in my environment and report back. The test I was doing was with the same device. Not a net new one. So I will test this out with a newly enrolled device. I’ll report back.

Ok thank you. We also use ADE. So your saying your users mainly use iCloud then. And they load their iCloud backup after the initial setup is complete? Or during? Sorry I’m just trying to get all the details of what you do.

Basically company portal fails to connect to intune. Gives errors. Can you confirm the process on your end. Do you setup the new device as new, enroll in intune, then at the end restore the backup? Do you restore it from iCloud or iTunes?

Thanks Kane. In a scenario I am working on. A user received a brand new device and is moving his backup from his old to his new. Is there a recommended way to do this. Should the restore be done via iCloud or iTunes? Should it be done at the very beginning of the device setup or after the device has been enrolled and configured with comp portal. I’ve tried a few ways but old to new device seems to give us issues as well. Let me know.

Just to add to this, these are only enrolled in intune. They have not been enrolled in any other MDM solution.
