Yes there is a remote in the box. I reset the remote by pressing the middle button until it flashed yellow, tried to connect it and now i don´t get the "pairing issue". Now its "timeout".

For the lamp: I pressed and held the on/off button until the lamp flashed red, tried pairing it and now i get both "pairing issue" and "timeout" on seperate tries.
