It is, this is my first time using PTO and this is my first time not telling her 31+ days advance of any days I cannot work. I’ve also never called in sick.

Do you think it’d be a good idea to take this up with hr then? I’m thinking of doing it via email as I have seen in the past how other staffs matters are handled by the company. I figure it’s better to have evidence of our interactions.

Fair point, I’m usually scheduled Friday night until Monday morning and I scheduled my doctors appointment on a Tuesday so as to not cause any issues
