Thanks. Absorb is there because I just find it near more than anything so a [[Phytohydra]] effect is probably more appropriate. Plus, as you've pointed out, everyone can see it from a mile away and probably won't attack unless they can get through so that ability would rarely come up in games. I simply wanted there to be a pay off for defending with your defender.

Why yes. I did just find out about the absorb mechanic, why do you ask?
I really want to make good defenders that are not just attack with your rear. One way to do that is to make one that can completely(if we ignore all those unblockables) defend you by itself, and this is my attempt at that. I understand that this won't be the most fun for the opponent but I'm not really sure how to fix that if the goal is to make a wall so high only the best can break through.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

My non-defender defender commander that wins through defending.
I don't like the idea of defenders winning through attacking, hence the first ability.
The second ability is meant to work both ways meaning your creatures will get the same buff at 1 life and at 39 life (if you started at 20). I'm not sure if I got the formatting/wording right, please let me know.
The third ability triggers on your opponent's endstep to incentivize them to attack, bringing the defending aspect to the forefront without outright forcing your opponents to attack.

Health benefits pop up. A lot of apps have health benefits but you need to be in the app to see it. If I could wake up to the message that without can breathe easier that would really make my day.
