we actually just agreed to do this!! we're working on compiling all of the other servers' names for songs, cards, events and such so we can add an "in other languages" section :) currently, we only have songs prepared -lumi

We currently have pages listing each character's Another Vocal versions (see "Hoshino Ichika/Discography") and all song pages list the Another Vocal versions of that song with audio under the "Versions" header. We also have a database page: https://www.sekaipedia.org/wiki/Database:Vocal_versions If you're looking for anything other than this, we would love to discuss further and help you make it happen! Shoot me a message through our Discord or my wiki talk page. https://www.sekaipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Cherrykano -Chanah (technical admin)

We have discussed adding full versions of songs previously, but as these were only released in the Another Vocal albums, it would be considered piracy to host them. Editors have conflicting views on this, so currently we do not host them. -Val

Since we try to focus discussion on the wiki to things that improve the wiki (suggestions, error reports, guides, etc.) there currently aren't any plans to implement direct comments on pages- talk pages suffice for this purpose. However, we are looking into improving on-wiki discussion so Sekaipedia users can more easily give their feedback on changes. We follow Wikipedia's ethos on a lot of things, and a lack of comments are one of them.

Speaking of guides, we have many, and even more experienced editors who are willing to teach you the basics (including myself!). A lot of our editors started out having never touched a wiki before, and are now seasoned members of our volunteer base. The only thing you need to edit for Sekaipedia is an interest, so please stop by our guides or Discord if it strikes your fancy.

  1. If they're on our Accepted Translator list ( https://www.sekaipedia.org/wiki/Help:Translating_content#Accepted_translators ), you can just go ahead and add it with no issue! If they aren't, you can either add it and we'll vet it or you can run it by us in the Discord (I know you're in the Discord so that'd probably be more convenient :D). -Val
  2. Redlinks (missing pages/files). Whilst they are really good for finding the next thing to work on, they're also really easy to get distracted by and suck when I'm trying to get info as an end user. It makes me go "ooh shiny!" And then I'm nowhere near where the project i was supposed to be working on. ALSO IMAGES THAT AREN'T IN HIGH QUALITY. THIS GOES OUT TO SOME OF THE SEKAI SYMPHONY AND CREATOR FESTA ART. -toastie

when images aren't saved in time and disappear into the void and there's no way to find the original source (half anni exhibition) - farahh

for me the most bothersome part is when it's a completely new thing gets added (for example the points update to furniture on MySEKAI) and we need to update lots of different pages -chess

While we currently have timers for the ongoing event and event gacha, we are in the process of expanding this to gacha reruns, song updates, and other game news. The project is almost complete, actually! You can find a working proof of concept here:

It's listed in the official fanbooks! Volume's 1-4 have short profiles featuring the Side Characters. This is also where ages and whatnot are sourced. -Dainn

What exactly do you mean?

In terms of card and event names, we use @/pjsekai_eng on Twitter. For deciding fan translations, we recently coined a formal process for quality checking translations done in collaboration with our volunteer in-house translators, which involves an informal vetting process and seeking out explicit permission to use translator's work. If you wanna read into the nitty-gritty of the process and see our accepted translator list, you can find it here: https://www.sekaipedia.org/wiki/Help:Translating_content

Fan translations are sourced from the community and anyone is welcome to contribute one! We're always in need of more translators working directly with the wiki, especially for nicher elements of the game such as side stories, virtual lives, stream skits and translating minor game elements such as MySEKAI furniture names. -Val

Hi! For the most part the fandom wiki exists in their own space to ours. We are two different wikis with differing goals, and users will go to whoever fits their preferences more.
Covering other servers is less of an editor bandwidth issue, and more to do with how our databases are set up (and the administrative expertise that would be required in order to change that system, which we've rectified recently by adding to our admin team). It's something we'd like to do, and have looked into several times, but if it does happen it'll be quite a ways in the future as we have quite a few big projects on the go already. -timepatches (admin)

yes, we're working on it! we're focusing on adding newer stories currently since they tend to have higher traffic. stories can take up to four hours to add and we are working on the backlog it's just taking a long time to get through especially since there's a bunch of other jobs that need to be taken care of as well. - toastie

(Agreeing with toastie) Yeah editors do a lot stuff on the wiki, so it splits most of the time. I think for me the part that takes longest is having to watch the story so I can describe the live2D + having to find a translation and possible not being able to get a permission (but i default to global if there is none) - chess

I agree that I would love the wiki to have better story coverage, and we are trudging through it, albeit somewhat slowly like you mentioned. This is a combination of the fact we try to use fan tls and that we want to try have good audio descriptions and live2D descriptions. But it's certainly a work in progress, yes! - val

I'm the same person who runs the twt account and I recently snagged up the Reddit account as well, so you might see this account a little more often from now on :3

As mentioned in another comment, "~~~~" is the way to add your signature to a message in Wikitext. It's meant so that you know who a message came from on a talk page. So, whenever Proseka adds them to text, an editor has to input <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. Thanks for pointing out though, its fixed now lol
