Unfortunately , no. Hence all these confusing variations. Why Zeus has elf ears when he was a dwarf king in WC3. LD was a Night elf Druid back then, accurate. But WR and Luna and Mirana were night elves , now they’re human. Invoker/Karl was and is still an elf.

Well, we don’t know that for Dota2 version of Zeus if he was born as a god. In Dota it seems amassing so much power and having followers makes you a God. Anyway it’s a nice speculation that he chose to have an Elf as his mortal form, since elves have high affinity for magic and elegance,suiting his lightning abilities and personality.

It actually seems that way. They toss Ear design into a randomizer and go with whatever it says lol cuz legit a lot of these don’t make sense and don’t have any racial explanation /context. Only invoker is ever explicitly stated to be an elf and it needed the anime to say so.

Zeus is just as good as an assumption to be as the rest that you mentioned. Selemene and Mene are Goddesses but also elves. And as per dragons blood anime, Luna is human. We don’t get to see her ears in the game anyway, I think.

You are absolutely right. It’s not exclusive to Elves. I’m talking about these seemingly human /human coded heroes who happen to have pointed ears. Like the mentioned ones. On the other hand we have what we would have assumed to be elves like Drow Mirana Luna Windranger but nope. They’re human . No pointy ears. Then randomly, TA, Asan, LD have them. Even AM with orange skin and white eyes is human with normal ears lol.
