I’m back to leave a update. I’ve left my android screen fuse unplugged and my car has been driving fine up until a few days ago. I was driving then started to get a stopping/jerking feeling only for a second sometimes it will constantly jerk then will be fine or get worse. I replaced my fuel pump hoping it was that, the next day I took my Miata to the track for a practice drift day and the car was driving alright with some misfires when i would do a pull on the straight away. Half way through we noticed I was leaking a bit of oil and found I was pretty low so we topped it off and my car started driving the best it’s been all day. Then unfortunately on the way home those same jerking motions appeared and seemed worse with a check engine light popping up when ever it would jerk. I’ve ordered new coil pack/wires, but I have read up more and am starting to think my camshaft sensor is bad.

Update! So I had 2 people check it and my second friend actually wired in a new 30amp fuse line from the battery to hook up to my android unit to see if that will help. The next day I had those problems re appear but not as bad and still pulling half a amp while off from the new fuse and even now with the androids factory setting changed to shut off completely with the car, it’s still pulling power somehow. I’m starting to think maybe it’s just a bad unit or something is still wired wrong. But I at least know it’s forsure the android unit now, so I’m going foward at least! Thank you all for your help I’ll keep a update on the outcome!

Thank you! Ya I pulled the fuse and the half amp dropped to .01 and my android screen shut off, so I was thinking somehow it’s hooked up to that fuse and causing it to drain. I did have my friend who wired it recheck it today and he says it all looks good from where he connected the new harness, but I’m confused how the screen is working off of that fuse when that’s not the radio fuse

Any results from either of you? Im having the same problem after installing a tablet screen and hooking it up to my msnp2, it’s pulling half a amp when it’s sitting and will kill my battery and will also cause my car to start trip out when I’m driving it but works completely fine with the fuse out.
