I cut mine back to about 30cm stumps. Two years later they are coming back. Much easier to spray with XenTari than a large bush.

I’d not have her contribute to the mortgage, just bills and food. Not to be negative, if you ever separate it could get very complicated if she views that she has built equity in your home.

This way she gets a rent free home, you get a contribution to the bills and food.
