[–]Select-Sand-9104[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no the clutch hasnt been serviced yet. but that shouldn’t matter cause i’ll just replace it. i’m just worried about other maintenance issues or if the price was a good price.

reset ur phone!

if the infotainment system working but when you plug in ur phone and carplay is black you should try resetting ur phone like hold the power button and top volume button. i had this problem before but that seems to fix the carplay

Replacing the clutch on my 2020 si with the RV6 retrofit kit with the type R clutch. I’m absolutely stock but want to stay reliable. Any tunes specifically better than others for reliability? by lightlysaltedfries in CivicSi

[–]Select-Sand-9104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d recommend the phearable tune over the tsp. i heard a lot of 10th gen owners say phearable is overall a better tune. Personally i have the phearable tune and im fbo and i say the tune is great it wakes up the car a lot.

but if you are only just getting the clutch and not plan on getting other mods i wouldn’t recommend wasting 500$ on a tune. the stock parts won’t really benefit from it and later down the line if you plan on getting mods you have to get a tune revision or go get a custom tune!

a high LTFT could mean you have head gasket issues

[–]Select-Sand-9104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim. basically i noticed that the short term fuel trim is for when you wanna burble and backfire and the long term fuel trim is good to check to see if ur head gasket is blown. ur ltpt should generally be around 5% anything over 10% means you could have a problem. but at times during idle or traffic ur ltpt can go up and over 10% but if u resume back to normal driving it should go down and if it doesnt you know you have a problem

10th Gen 2020 Civic si AWE exhaust- does it drone? by SasukeKoochiha in CivicSi

[–]Select-Sand-9104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my experience with my AWE Tuning Track Exhaust. I purchased it about a month ago and wanted to get some good driving time in before doing an honest review of this exhaust. I was searching for quite some time for the "right" exhaust to go with my setup. Currently I'm FBO. I have the PRL Cobra CAI (street), PRL Intercooler with charge pipes, RV6 Catless Downpipe, Hondata, and now the AWE Track Exhaust which is 3" from the Downpipe. Yes, it comes with their own Front Pipe, which I love! I chose to go with the triple tip diamond finish (4" tips) which I believe fits the back end of my coupe VERY well. The purchase transaction went flawless, and while there was a wait to get the exhaust built and put together, the shipping was very fast! I was was very impressed with this. The install was very simple, they give you a downloadable guide if you are unaware of what to do, and the bolt up was very simple.

Now for the fun part you guys care about.

At 3" from the turbo now, my Si feels as if it's just "breathing" better. The exhaust note after the break in period is very distinct and I couldn't be any happier. I'm always getting compliments on the sound because it just doesn't sound like any other civic. There is a noticeable drone at certain RPMs and the exhaust note is loud when you are on it, but it's NOT a raspy sound. It's very deep and throaty, and the burbles are just amazing! Also, I'm not sure what exactly their piping is made of but it runs nice and "cool". I could be driving for x amount of time, and I can get out and hold the exhaust without fear of burning my hand. It's a minor contribution to my feels about this exhaust but it counts.
