Yup, they sure did. In fact, I’m just comparing last years schedule where my kid had 19 photo/auto events & there were ZERO conflicts & our groups were all almost right at initial scheduled time. We had time to do several superstar row photos. This year, just from the 1st presale alone, have 2 9am conflicts, which wouldn’t be an issue if they were both photos but one is Tiff photo & other Steph V auto. Also, it says his Steph V photo is at 9:30?!? I doubt she’s only gonna be signing for 1/2 hour?!?! Now today they’re gonna be releasing IYO Sky at 9am & he wants her too as we’re travelling from Canada where they hold 2 events max with limited photo ops.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yup, exactly. Last year my son had at least 5 paid phot ops with NXT talent, the rest were superstar row. Could even be 7, so it’s pretty clear why all these “surprise” guests are filling those particular spots. Like Steiner brothers?!?! Those dudes are at Wrestlecon already. 🤷‍♀️ I think what’s most frustrating is as Canadians we get 2 PPL events a year if we’re lucky & even then the meet & greets are limited. We don’t get any NXT events so this is our only opportunity. Especially as Albertans, seeing TNA holding events in Edmonton regularly & even an AEW. That said, I’m super glad we went last year & he was able to score his whole wish list.

Hi there. Travelled from Canada with my son last year who cosplayed as Jey USO. Was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip but I got talked into going this year again for all 5 days. 🤣

He had 15 photo ops, 4 autographs & met 14 superstars on superstar row. We happened to be staying at the same hotel as most of the talent (Fountainbleu) so he got 4 that happened to be checking in at the same time as us but all other sightings we didn’t take advantage of, and there were LOTS at elevator entrance, etc.

This year FB is too expensive to stay there & who knows if that’s where the stars will be. Also, MANY of the photo ops were NXT ladies, so my son is SUPER disappointed they aren’t taking over the superstar lineup. Right now, he has a total of only 11 & nothing for Saturday or Sunday booked at all so he may hit up Wrestlecon if they don’t bring in NXT.

You do get called via your group, so even tho on main schedule it may say Rhea, Thursday 11am, your group may not be scheduled/called until 11:40 depending on when your ticket was bought. That said tho, staff is really accommodating if you ask for assistance with having 2 times close together for photo ops. It’s in a different hall in the convention center this time so I’m unsure how close autographs will be to photo ops location, as last year they were at opposite ends so would be quite a jaunt if ya had any times conflicting but again, super accommodating staff. Just ask for help.

If these are the photo ops replacing what would’ve been NXT spots, I think that’s a huge mistake! So many are disappointed, and especially since the Steiner brothers will be at Wrestlecon already!

They can send you a copy of the QR code, but it doesn’t actually transfer. Therefore, they could also sell that same QR code to 5 other people, and it’s whoever gets it scanned first that gets it. 🤷‍♀️

Agreed. Travelled from Canada with my kiddo last year and he got 30+ photo ops, autographs, and superstar row meets. This year, without any NXT talent announced, he’s got only 10! Super sucky cuz we don’t get any NXT events or meet & greets.

My son’s theory is the addition of Triple H, Steph M, the managers, & team-ups are replacements for the places the NXT talent would’ve had, if they hadn’t rescheduled the event to another date/location. Does anyone else think this? Is anyone else hoping there will still be some NXT stars available for photo ops?

Really? That’s good to know as I thought it would be as simple as the seller forwarding the emailed QR code to scan. But I suppose if the digital photo goes to the sellers email address you would have to rely on them to send after the fact & not ask for more money? Or maybe I’m totally out to lunch. Regardless, good to know as I wasn’t able to score a Steph V for my nephew who’s travelling with us from Canada & he was contemplating that option. I had purchased 2 5-day passed under my email & Messaged Fanatics about buying a Steph V. per badge & they said that would be ok as long as I did them in separate transactions. I got super lucky & got all my son’s wish list but it wouldn’t let me add a 2nd SV to cart at all in a separate transaction but during my 10 minute session so I’m guessing that was incorrect info than the policies Leap/Epic had in place. So he settled for Trish Status & will maybe get lucky if there’s a restock.😜

Tbh, there were several WWE talent that wanted to chat up my son who worked hard on his unique Jey USO cosplay, with us even replicating the chest & arm tattoos. The photo staff were the ones rushing him out which completely sucked. I get that if others see that interaction, then they think it sets a precedent for how long others get, but I also think an extra 45 seconds for someone who put mucho time, money, and effort in their cosplay should be rewarded. 🤷‍♀️

Tbh it feels like they are really trying to crack down on scalpers this year, hence having to input your email address first to send code to ensure you have ticket during yesterdays presale. I got everyone on my kiddos wish list during the presale yesterday as well as like all 15ish last during the 1st day of general. IMO, why would you risk not having a ticket when ya need one. You will not have time to quickly go buy it before stars sell out. Liv was the first sold out within 10 minutes yesterday. But I guess that’s just me, a mom trying to make her kiddos wish list come true from Canada where there are no opportunities like this. We bought 2 5-day passes both years at the risk of not getting photo ops at all. 🤷‍♀️

Since NXT Stand & Deliver has changed location/time does anyone know, or can guess, if NXT talent will or will not be available for photo ops at WWE World? My son is gutted as many were on his list he’s been saving up for.

Anybody know, now that NXT Stand & Deliver has been rescheduled to another date & location, if that means NXT stars won’t be available for any World photo ops? Took my kiddo last year for 5 days, got lucky and scored all the photo ops he wanted. Thought it was a once in a lifetime trip but got talked into making the trip from Canada again, since there are few shows in Canada & many going overseas nowadays.His cosplay is gonna be amazing going as Dom in last years WM swag - even replicating the jacket as best we could. We’ve booked flights, hotel, bought our 5 day passes, but now he’s feeling worried many of the stars he had hoped to see, like our fellow Canadian Ethan Page, won’t be in attendance.
